Georgia High School football runs the show

I’d rather have some of these rural kids with brute size and power along with speed that go SEC and clemson , and yes majority of them come from GA and Deep South. Problem is those kids are programmed to be scared of the big city

Mercenary teams. "freelancers". We play like AAU basketballers.
Exactly.....in Texas you cant transfer to another school just cause you feel like it. Texas teams are kids who actually live in the district and dont/cant jump from school to school

100 percent accurate. They get all giggity making these all star teams and beat up on schools they should be attending.
School choice. Stop whining. You whine every post. The system in place allows it, so that’s what happens.

Context.

Personal opinion, it sucks, no loyalty.
Ok and? Who should a person be loyal to? Because my mom told me I comes before U. Each person has to do what’s best for them. School choice wasn’t put in place for sports. But since they are student athletes, it benefits them.

Whatever order it is Florida is #1.

This aint an opinion either. Check the records of the games of the high schoolers just this szn.
I believe it. I’d say Florida is 1 Texas is 2 then Georgia. I’m just a Illinois guy wishing there was good high school ball here instead the best team is 5 hours away in East St Louis.

I do hear you, for real I do.

Having said that, if you don't teach your kid some loyalty early on, they'll never have it. You grow up playing with your friends and then you drop them when you're going to make it regardless, that makes no sense to me. These super teams and those that change yearly based on coaching moves, you don't hear about the kid that jumped on board but then never made it because someone jumped them. They don't even shine anymore and one of the local guys down there can talk more on it and have.

I get it when you don't have a QB that can get it to you or an OL to block, etc. It's your money year as recruiting is starting, junior or senior, you gotta look around. Still, there's too many moving and we wonder why there's no loyalty to the home team. I'm not saying there should be until we give them a reason to stay home, but you're teaching these young kids nothing. They're mercs before they even finish high school.

It's their life, I get that too. I just won't be teaching my son that and he'll likely be a P5 OL or DT. He can shine anywhere. Got a bit off track, but hope you get what I'm saying. Gotta feel weird murking your boys forever when you jump ship for the all star team. I'd want to smash them with my boys.

This is where the talent is. Real talent that knows how to win football games. Not paper talent based on a guy's 40 time. The coaches in Georgia are full-time coaches. They don't teach PE all day or work at Publix like Florida high school coaches do. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee...they get their dudes from Georgia because they are physically developed and well-coached.

We don't have to get all of our guys from there, but the street ball south Florida style isn't working.
What?! Don’t know where u got this information from bruh, but it’s wrong…. well unless your name is Rush Propst or something. Most still teach classes (PE or other subjects). Some head coaches here, don’t teach anything more than maybe a couple to a few football weight training classes and maybe a PE. ****, Rush’s coordinators at Colquitt Co. didn’t even teach a class. Football all day, baby! But most of us don’t have the cache of Rush, so we can’t get away with that. Maybe there’s a few schools around the Atl area that’s using that model now, but no… most of us are still teaching classes.

I could be wrong on who said it or how they said it. But I'm pretty sure Butch talked about this one day. Saying an equal Texas kid compared to a Florida kid, you always take the Florida kid. Basically that a Florida kid has a higher ceiling due not having the best of the best (constant workouts, coaching etc).

James Williams was coached by NFL players lol smh

He was coached by Pat Surtain, Daryl Porter, Chad Wilson, Before that the great Joe Zaccheo at Pace. He also had good coaching at Western
So what lol the one thing I have learned that is shocking… is that most of these nfl guys.. are trash coaches/teachers. But they get all the natural talent to come to them to “learn” but really they didn’t do a thing.of course that’s just my personal opinion but others share it

The fact that Florida has so many HS teams at the top and top tier prospects in every recruiting class despite money being an insane factor in terms of coaching payments is actually statement in favor of Florida and against Georgia and Texas.

I mean yeah and no. Sometimes the rankings are done based on the amount of natural talent on the teams as well. There are Texas schools not listed that are better than north shore and Duncanville this year.

Yeah, thats kinda the downside here. Good point.

Doesn’t take away from what you said. I agree that Florida is the most naturally talented player to player wise. But they’re always gonna be on this list based upon that. There are way better football teams out there though
