This is where the talent is. Real talent that knows how to win football games. Not paper talent based on a guy's 40 time. The coaches in Georgia are full-time coaches. They don't teach PE all day or work at Publix like Florida high school coaches do. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee...they get their dudes from Georgia because they are physically developed and well-coached.

We don't have to get all of our guys from there, but the street ball south Florida style isn't working.

Very much so Texas. Georgia can’t compete. Florida has the most natural talent, Texas right after but Texas kids are machines. Much better coached. A 3 star here will always come in and do his job if developed
Figured top 3 in no specific order is Texas, Florida, Georgia.

Currently, Florida has the most HS football teams ranked in the top 15 nationally

Sooooo Florida no longer has the best talent?

8 players in the top 30
32 players in the top 150
50 players in the top 250

Just cause Miami sucks.. doesn’t mean all of the sudden Florida doesn’t still have the best, and most talent in the nation.

I’ll say this.. the more and more south Florida becomes expensive to live in.. those less expensive states like Georgia & Texas, will start crept up to Floridas level of talent.. due to kids parents from Florida moving there.

I think Martin county and Indian river county will get the kids of families who can’t afford to live in 305/954/561 before they leave the actual state

Great point.

But it’ll say a bit more north. I moved to the treasure coast about 5 years ago.. homes are going for 200 more these days.. population has exploded in this area. So I think a bit more north will see ppl from those areas like you said.

They don't. And it didn't happen "all of a sudden."

The reputation of South Fla HS football has been living off how it was in the 80s and 90s for a decade or more now. More like a myth than a legend these days. Just think of how many local players we've signed -- over three or four coaching regimes -- who have been highly rated but untimately disappointing on the field.

It’s ridiculous. I moved up from north Miami to palm beach about 7 years ago. Everything’s gotten so crazy up here. Delray used to be a quiet little town, now good luck finding a nice home w a pool under 7 figures.

Pt st lucie is still affordable, just like Jupiter USED to be. It’s only a matter of time before those prices go crazy. Same with Stuart

Okay how do explain the many players.. from the no stars like someone like AB, to the 5 stars, balling at other programs?

I’ll tell you.. COACHING.

Miami has spent the last 15 years hiring sorry *** coaches. Same can be said for UF & FSU the last 5 - 10 years, who also get a lot of their players out of Florida.

We can complain how bad coaching has been here, but still wondering why our 4/5 stars can never get it done?

This has been talked about for several years already and I believe that it’s gonna come to fruition.

The cost of living Down here has been pushing out a lot of coaches and young families.
