Ge’mon Eaford

I honestly don't understand why certain schools are either outright anti-Cane, or their kids play games up until the last minute and aren't worth the drama in a strong class. But I think that's the stereotype that Eaford is up against because he's from Deerfield Beach. Huff, Solomon and R Davis seem equally impressive, will stick to their commitment, and can be counted on to be team players. So why roll the dice on Eaford?

OT, but talk to me about Pierre? Haven't read or heard much about him for a minute. Still a strong commit and definite take?

They are all good. Really good. Question is who wants in. You just don’t stop recruiting talent like Eaford. A lot of the dudes he looked up to clowned the U went elsewhere and had success. He might not care if he’s left on the outside looking in while some of the other recruits don’t want to be in that position.

Is Eaford a better take than Pierre, I know Pierre did well at Paradise camp and is a top central Florida recruit. But is he a better take, if Eaford really wants in?

Jesiah Pierre runs track and Eaford doesn’t. What do you think?

Well that sucks. ... but I'll have zero problem with a class of Brooks and any 3 of Solomon, Pierre, Eaford, Hufff and R Davis. Add that Ga kid to the pool, too, as he has the goods, IMO. I'm not quite there on the other two STA kids, but could see them earning their spot, too.

Not a take. Rian Davis and one of the STA boys(whoever commits first)...it’s already been said.
I'm not buying that he's not a take. I just think the staff probably feels more confident in landing two of the STA LBs or Rian Davis.

Its not guaranteed but he is feeling them. Pierre isnt all that. He was hyped up because of a camp. His junior film isn't all that impressive to me. They are on all the sta LBs.

btw this is exactly why we only took 1 lb last year, and why I completely understood it.

There are so many Miami caliber LBs in florida this yr. I just really hope we get the right ones.

I feel like Rian Davis can technically be considered a take as a DE, and Keontra Smith as a S. So I mean I firmly believe we only get 4 LBs, but if we also got those two guys, I don't think its would be a bad call tbh.
Keontra Smith will play LB in Manny’s new Defense to cover slot receivers, I truly believe Rian Davis could be turned DE. Now my opinion is we should take Brooks, Pierre(not crazy about him), Solomon, Huff and Eaford. We are loosing a lot of depth at LB(Nobody’s)after this season to graduation thank GOD but we might also lose Pickney and Shaq(hopefully not). So we have to load up.

Eaford is 6'2 220 and can run sideline to sideline. Kid played with Rosendo Louis and another div 1 lb last year at Deerfield and stuck out like a sore thumb. He is the real deal. Believe that.

I don't doubt you Geta. But will he listen to what Richt has to offer? Louis face palmed us. One of the only kids to do so out of South Florida last year.

You don't know **** about the LB position if you aren't crazy about Pierre.

Kid should definitely be getting a bump soon and IMO is the best pure LB in the state, and FL is loaded with top LBs.

ILB/OLB Jessiah Pierre was just named top player in central FL (I believe Lingard was that last cycle).

WDE/OLB Sam Brooks is great, but he needs to learn the LB position as he has pretty much been a rush end for most of his career like Eaford (who I don't even want in this class especially since we already have Brooks).

It looks like OLB/Rover SS Anthony Solomon will be in this class and he brings a different dimension than any of the other LBs on our board (Jamar Brown is a good back up in case Solomon chooses Michigan).

I would love to close out our LB class with ILB/OLB Avery Huff or ILB/OLB/WDE Rian Davis or both if possible.

Keontra Smith seems like a silent already and he will start out at SS, and may stay there or grow into an OLB (love his film).

My dream LB class:

ILB/OLB Pierre
OLB/WDE Brooks
OLB/SS Solomon
ILB/OLB Huff
----If we take a 5th-------
ILB/OLB/WDE Davis

You blind fool shut your pie 🥧 Hole. Sorry to break it to you Pierre played vs underwhelming/unimpressive competition. I never said I wouldn’t take the kid just that I’m not crazy as you about him you cry baby. If saying I don’t know Sh;t for having a different opinion makes you feel vindicated enjoy.

For one reason or another, Deerfield has always been a minefield for us. I can't remember the last time we got a highly sought after kid from there, or any kid for that matter. Jerry Jeudy. Rosendo Louis. Miguel Edwards. Brandon Powell. Aaron Robinson. James Pierre. Don't expect Eaford in this class.
We are in a better situation now and kids see it. Things change and we can't stay on that Deerfield thing. Eaford and their RB seriously considering us.
