I have a feeling our LB room is not going to look the same after this year. I wouldnt be surprised if the only guys left in the room were from this class and last years class. And Wes. Everyone else will be asked to move on. So I think that is why they are okay with bringing in 4 guys. (as long as the last two are Alford and Wiley)

They didn't even play IMG. Makes me wonder if Nix is on their JV squad or something.

Might need to look into that a little.

Im not mad with bringing in 4, i just dont see the point of having players on the roster who just aren’t Miami caliber

Popo
Washington
Pruitt
Hayes
Alderman?

Incoming class:
Nix
Marcelin
*wiley* fingers crossed
*Alford* fingers crossed

It hasn’t shown this year and I’m not sold on Nicholsons ability to develop but that room has been transformed to start to look a certain way. I think nix and Marcelin are fringe takes but when you land dudes like Pruitt, Washington, and hopefully a Wiley type talent I can live with taking the undersized, limited athletically, high iq type backers.
 
Nicholson can **** sure recruit. Jury is out on whether he can develop. A good test will be what he can do with Bobby Washington. He wont get many freaks like that at LB anytime soon. And BW is going into his 3rd season in 2025. Gotta get something out of a freak show like that.
 
Nix isn't Corey Flagg. He can run. The guy is a blue-chip player on every service and has been for years.

We've been complaining about a lot of issues on defense-- communication, instincts, tackling, lateral mobility. Nix addresses all of those.

Pretty sure Chase Smith will have eligibility left. Whether he comes back is the question.
