There are FAR worse places to end up than an IVY League schoolWestminister Christian I believe. Play other private schools like Ransom, Palmer and St. Brendan. Pretty poor competition in the grand scheme but he's probably a kid that can play for one of the Ivies one day.

You know what you call guys who went to ivy schools for athletics? No joke. Unless you're an absolute baller, you go there if given the opportunity.

I would choose to play for an Ivy than go to the NFL any day of the week.

Ivy League graduates
Some people have actually done both.
If a kid can use ball as way to get into and help pay for an Ivy League education, I give them total respect.
School and football are both hard as ****. Doing both with those academic demands is downright incredible.
No way in **** this kid ever gets a dime towards his education at an Ivy unless Manny ends up corching at his local HS.
I said a kid not that kid, Barney.
Manny's son made All-Dade LB as a Sophomore. Overrated? Weak competition? Thanks in advance.

lol nobody is paying a recent ivy league graduate more than the NFLYup. Lot of respect for those guys. Turning down much higher paying career paths, with less risk of injury, because their love for the game is that great.

Doing what? No, but withing 5 years they could be making more than the highest paid NFL players in and within 10 years they could be making more in 1 year then the NFL players net worth.
