Surely the cause couldn’t be him not being able to offensively coordinate an 8U co-ed flag football team as he showed us this past season? Tell me he didn’t agree to that in his contract because then he’s not just a horrible OC but not too bright either

Guess you haven't been reading any of the threads ... especially the one that is closed on Gattis saga ... which indicated that the termination was FOR CAUSE .... which triggers the cessation of salary payments. There is a reason that the AD department had to take a certain amount of time with this termination process and final documents. Don't want to believe it ... fine.

Love the idea of Coley as co-OC or WR coach role as long as he isn’t calling plays, but at the same time Mario should learn from last season and hire an OC first and let that guy bring in one or two of his preferred assistants.

Processes to do the right thing and make sure they are taking the proper steps to not waste $$$. LOL.

If you guys say this had Absolutely NOTHING to do with $$$$ - why didn’t they fire him two months ago?

Maybe because if the guy did something that rose to the level of being fired for cause it shouldn't be rewarded by handing him $1.8M dollars to go away. Instead you take the proper steps to be able to fire him for cause to set an example to others that you do not get rewarded for doing stupid ****
