I met AP a few months back. Really nice guy. His handshake wasn't anything out of the ordinary imo.

these are two alums that played (not a ton, but played), and are now very successful outside of football which is great for the university.

On said Gattis tried to squeeze his hand super hard when shaking his hand, like look how strong I am, like trying to intimidate him.

I actally went to Miami with this girl who always crushed people’s hands to greet them. No one was expecting it, but they would expect this thin girl to shake hands pleasantly and she would just hesistate her grip then FULL FORCE then release like a shock. Everyone would comment on it behind her back.

This what happens when you have a HC that doesnt coach up a unit.

I specifically stated this before the MC hiring...if sh*t hts the fan on offense.....what can he do? He never called plays.

Theres maybe one dude that can call plays and thats Ponce and last weekend clip of him on the sideline he looked like a dude who took his entire work check to Calder Casino and didnt have a ride home.

If your a figure head/ceo type head coach you better have at minimum 2 guys on staff with play calling history on offense.

Mario with the next hire needs to do this....even last year we had Lashlee AND Likens who could draw up some sh*t...im betting if Mario had this in place...Gattis wouldve been fired midszn for how bad he has been
 
There's a guy coaching in Starksville, Mississippi who is as wierd as they come but his offenses score points. Only thing I will say is Gattis comes off as whiny even when he's not trying to be. Brett Hartt is like this, for my wrestling fans here.

And the Ponce description. Good lord. Last time I saw that face it was being worn by a guy who’s card got declined by the strip club ATM…after he owed money

Gattis could be a Pokémon playing pedophile for all I know but I gotta say that the "weird" ones in this equation would probably be the kids somehow finding Cristobal shoveled "honor" in playing for Miami this year.

OR

the Gattis stuff is still true but this tale from former players just got a little extra fluff to try to support their boy (and possibly fellow o-lineman).
 
There’s firm and then there’s trying to overdue it. There should be no over-straining of the forearm when giving a handshake.

I used to see Gase around in Lauderdale. Never had any in-depth interactions to actually judge his potential weirdness but I definitely could see what you're saying as being a real possibility too.

One time I saw him in a restaurant and it appeared like he was having an argument with his wife as he was eating what looked to be like the chicken tenders off of a kids menu. Was hilarious to see him seem heated but then still eating food designed for a 7 yr old mid-sentence.

Not gonna lie, there’s this brewery by my house that the kids chicken tender meal is $5 and has the same amount of food as the $9 chicken tender appetizer. When my kids are with me, I order an extra kids meal for myself

$4 is $4
 
So, I follow Gattis on Instagram. For some reason, before the season started, Instagram kept suggesting posts to me that Gattis had liked, and they were all attractive women or models or influencers. It was so peculiar to me that a public figure would be liking photos online in such a traceable, documentable manner.

There were just so many red flags.

Hahaha. I can absolutely respect that. Outgaming the restaurant game.

I just think ya gotta wait until you get out to the car to have a heated conversation with the wife if your entree plate is the same your 3rd graders.

This is something I guarantee Mike Leach has an opinion on. 🤣
