I'm assuming its a home and home, with the home game for UM being in Orlando. If that's the case, then UF should get 5,000 like every other visiting team. Miami gets all parking and concession receipts as well. If this is not what is agreed upon, then I say F'em!

Hey everyone please don't take this as me bragging or anything. This is relevant and I want to share it.

I am the Student Government Vice President at The U. I ran on the "Unite The U" ticket with 2 of my friends (one of them actually posts on here). One of our top initiatives was to Renew The Rivalry. The three of us are all from Miami born and raised and I am almost positive we became the first all Cuban ticket to win. We have spoken to President Shalala about it and she is very on board. She wants us to do it but says UF is the problem. We ask every year. My team and I are trying to meet with Blake soon to start working on it over the Summer. I can keep you posted as much as possible.

I dont think that is a fair assessment. The Miami administration is in a lose lose situation here. Foley is not going to play Miami in a home and home again it just doesnt make financial sense and UF doesn't need nor really want the game. There isnt going to be some big outcry from UF fans and alumni for the game not being played. At best Miami can get a "neutral" site game in central Florida and Miami fans will be ****ed about that. People love to make arguments that this is about competition when this is really just about $$$$.
