Tears Gator Tears

What’s this showing, that he leads in big plays? He has a lot of raw ability, regardless of the gator hate.
That he is like the best true freshman in the last decade in big time throw RATE. While also being at the lower end of turnovers rate. And obviously he has the build that many of these true freshman don't have, which speaks to his future growth potential as well.

If we had a true freshman that was ranked where he draws on this list we'd be very very happy about our future.

I didn’t realize he was that good last year and I was a Lagway proponent who got crap on here for praising him as being a talent for the future. I saw erratic play with highs and lows but apparently it’s a lot more highs.

If he can’t see it he can’t see it. It means he will be a first read guy possibly. He can win but elite, we all know when you see elite. They extend plays and throw dots in the face of pressure with ease. He’s going to need Billy to draw things up on first read (which most coaches can do including Billy)

But when they face a team that can make him scan the field that’s when you have a chance to make him under perform. Don’t think he’s a qb that can win you games consistently imo. He’s won’t be like the main reason they win, sort of like Hurts. He has to have a full deck if not he ****ed. And the gators do not have a full deck
Tells you what I know QBs , I thought once the game started slowing down you would. Be able to see more of the field

Sometimes they just dont have it its that simple. Especially when there is an elite pass rush, how they move in the pocket and extend plays keeps defenders off balance and shook. Thats why it was so difficult to defend Ward he already walked into games with that threat, everyone knew dont get to crazy or you in trouble. That fear factor is crazy it makes teams hesitant asf. That trait you cant really measure at combines or workouts, there is no workout for vision and being confident in the pocket. Thats why so many QBs become Jags, if they had a workout for it there would be less busts. Pause

Its basically a roll of the dice, thats why you see so many QBs from unheralded schools shock people and have good seasons. Now when that QB has a great year at a lesser school everyone knows and the tampering begins, then the kid leaves to a bigger program.

Love your charts. But facts can be deceptive with the right cherry picking. He has a **** of an arm but has inconsistent accuracy to be able to thread the needle. And he's overly confident. His OL won't do him any favors either. I believe Lagway will be a pick machine next year now that everyone has film on him.

Well of course, this is just looking at one statistical metric. It doesn’t at all tell the whole story. It also sin’t exactly predictive. Though QBs that in general don’t commit many twp typically consistently do so. Again this isn’t TD:Turnover. It’s looking at every throw and assigning a big time throw stat or a turnover WORTHY stat line. Regardless everyone would be a complete liar if they’d say you’d prefer to be a different qb on THIS metric.

Pressure 2 sack ratio is also quite important and actually a bit more predictive. I have that for him somewhere I can post.

I also have his actual accuracy% number I can post for the full season as well. Idr if it was good or not. But it’s more than just comp% obviously.
