Because even though he sucks, rookie contracts are cheap and before this week hes been average/not a total liability when thrown in for injuries.
I expect him traded for a late round pick this offseason

Still not sure how he is still on the team. Drafted the same year as Benford who beat him out immediately. Then he proceeds to crap the bed when he does get to play. I was watching the KC game thinking as good as the Bills FO seems to be at times how is it they can't find a better guy to be a backup CB.

He isn't wrong. The D seemed to be fine but that offense just isn't built to win in the SEC and Napier refusing to hand over the reins to someone better is likely his downfall. I mean didn't Guidry basically call them basic and easy to defend and we saw how much he sucked as the year went on.

Can we have a discussion around DJ Lagway and the "Possibly best QB in college football next year" narrative that is being spewed by more than just gator fans. I get the raw talent but that game log leaves ALOT to be desired. If anything, the narrative should be around how the gators started blocking better and the defense did alright after being sodomized by Cam and Co.
