The funniest part in all of this is UF and FSU hace lane duck coaches which is nearly impossible in CFB. Neither one believes in their HC but between their programs being not good jobs having crazy buyouts and being terrified of settling again they're stuck whil we're here chilling as Canes fans

Yup.... we talked about that on this thread weeks ago. One thing the gator board was overlooking was Stricklin hand picked Billy and he is coming back as an interim guy after Sasse fleeced them for millions. Last thing he is going to do is admit he screwed up with Billy, commit millions more to a different coach that he knows he wont be here to oversee and it will be the next guy's problem. Most interim presidents try to maintain status quo until a new guy gets there, not make major decisions or enter into years of contractual obligations.

Also what is with them and letters? Didnt Napier have to write an "open letter" to the UF fan base before he even coached a game? Maybe it was with the Rashada stuff? Like who in UF marketing is like "yeah a letter posted on twitter is what we need to calm the masses" if anything just STFU let everyone assume he is gone at the end of the year and let them start complaining in the offseason. To do it now before they are about to get murdered with their third string QB seems like it only will enflame the fan base.

My Bull Gator partner is distraught. He says that Strickland knows that with the president situation he needs to win soon or he will end up at Old Dominion or Vermont, so he embraced those who think that Lagway will lead Billy to the playoffs next year. He also says that he expects money to slow down and that the team may have an embarrassing recruiting and portal class. I offered him a seat on the Cane train and he gave me the middle finger!
