I thought BN was going to be able to recruit but so many schools upgraded to elite recruiters and their ain't enough big fish each cycle to go around. He's surrounded by the best recruiters in the country besides fsu.

Yeah the NIL really changed everything. JM also had a good start to his career they knocked off #3 Ole Miss which was kinda like the overreaction we had when UiF beat Utah

I don’t think Napier loses his job as fast as JM but I see a slower descent into mediocrity but they also won’t necessarily be a disaster either

I think FSU will face similar paths. Norvell ain’t the guy. Caught some lighting with Travis who Ive thought was gonna be a PROBLEM for years, and some solid DL guys, but his recruiting problems are gonna catch up

To me Norvell is there Golden. Hykeem is the Stacey Coley win and he struck gold on QB. Unsustainable they will be screwed later on. People are basically thinking they will be great but to me it's a toss up it can go north or south in a hurry.

Exactly. Mullen is a good coach.

Jury is still out on him as a coach but the returns on the recruiting side of things shows a guy who can’t read a room well. The start of this cycle has actually been borderline elite but as the months go on he continues to lose momentum and getting played by recruits. Last year he signed a very good class but it was short of serious difference makers.

I think thats a fair comparision. Norvell puts some good playeds in the league like Golden. They just don't have the IT factor.

I may be mistaken here but it seems like they’ve got a nice boost from some legacy recruits

remember this sh would happen to us. When the big boys came out they cleaned up and our class would fall apart. Now we have that we taken all your recruits culture.

I think Norvell has some good qualities about him but he’s really not an elite team type of coach. Like if he was at a place like Virginia or even a lower tier SEC team he could have a solid record and go on about his business year to year with some upsets maybe mixed in when he gets the right QB in there

But I think the people crowning FSUs trend towards the return to glory are way off

even if they could fire Billy after this abortion of a season there about to have, I don’t see who they would get as a hc that could do much better? I don’t see anyone wanting that job who could actually fix that dumpster fire

All the big names are hired besides Urban ain't no way he would go back there.
