I mean, saying that he’s heard rumors that it’s a $5,000,000 deal with $500,000 up front is about as blatantly reckless as a “reporter” can be when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Imagine me having a piece published on a big newspaper or internet site saying that I heard rumors that you murdered several people without a shred of evidence. That would definitely be grounds for slander and libel.

These hacks are writing these hit pieces in an attempt to smear Ruiz, and implying that he’s illegally buying players for the University of Miami, which would be in direct violation of NCAA rules and state laws.

This is getting so ridiculous. If FL fans think that UF is above it all and NOT offering big NIL deals lol GTFO. Maybe they try and not offer much upfront and Miami is but it’s not like they are offering a Gator set of textbooks and Miami is giving $5m

I could definitely see Ruiz getting to a point where he just says "***** it lets bury these guys in lawsuits". Ruiz has vast resources and can play the long term on those suits while those guys would probably be hurting financially. I'd love for them to settle with the settlement being a printed retraction haha. Just to see Ruiz lay his balls on them haha.
