Tears Gator Tears

Nothing to see here, no punishment.

If you read the article and not just the title it states, "No player will be kicked out of school or dismissed from the team because of this. If suspensions do happen, they will come from Jim McElwain, not the school, and they figure to be minimal."

However once again though....Calloway putting himself in a bad position considering everything else going on.

Credit card fraud's a felony. Don't see how they get off that lightly.

False alarm..sort of...they were using their school credit cards that was to buy books and stuff to buy stuff and sell it.....cards weren't stolen....Calloway still a ******.

Because the cards belong to UF...hence UF decides not to press charges and "punish " internally lol

Impermissible benefits.

Clearly the school is facilitating players "paying" themselves if they do nothing.

This may actually be an NCAA violation, aside from being a crime.

I heard from a friend who is somewhat close to their program, the players went to best buy and bought apple watches and headphones then reported their UF issued credit cards stolen and best buy had them all on camera. Just brilliant.

That's actually dumber than Jameis with the crab legs.

Credit Card fraud...so hot right now...so hot

First that Cook hanger on D. Phillips at FSU and now this. I'm contributing to the tears but they are tears of pure happiness.

Im sure UF will do something, but the investigation by the school will wrap up sometime during or just after the Michigan game and they will serve whatever penalty against Northern Colorado. Then the school can say they did the right thing and punished them lol

I meant to post this here instead of in Nole Tears...

Any talk of it has been completely shut down on their board. Inquiring minds want to know!

I doubt anything comes from this unless there is enough outrage and the NCAA is forced to. Same friend close to the program said the university reimbursed best buy for the items and will "deal with it internally". It's frustrating how much SEC schools get away with.

Why would they need to reimburse Best Buy? They supposedly used their cards for unauthorized purchases for personal gain. Best buy was paid, no need to go pay them again right? Maybe return items and act like it never happened, but pay them again, nah.. Based on the information your insider has given himself, I question your "sauce" knowing anymore than any of the people on here.

It's weird but not telling of the source, one way or the other. Maybe they refunded the cards to get the purchases off the players accounts and then the university just purchased them directly from Best Buy on one of their primary cards? Whatever it is, I first saw something nondescript on the Gaytor board and learned more here so I'm thankful for any information, regardless of whether or not it's exclusive information.

Does anyone think Luke Stampenis will report the Gaytors to the NCAA like he tried to get us in trouble for having alums helping at a scrimmage?
