Tears Gator Tears

You know what UF is fighting? Being a regional brand. They spent 20 plus years scheduling nothing but home games cup cakes OOC. Lots of SEC teams were doing it. See UGA changed that and scheduled ND, Oregon etc. People will cry about home and home but it pays off even if you lose.

Now that UF is down they are struggling to get traction nationwide. We have never had that problem, the brand was built on playing any team, anywhere. That's why Mario and Napier get hired same cycle but recruiting traction is night and day. Look how many top rank players cycle in and out, visiting even on their own dime.

OK, size-haters, let me know if 125% size screenshots work, and then let's discuss this Gaytor "mock" below:

And don't complain about the last line being cut off, it just means the Gaytors are not taking a 6-star long snapper (or any long snapper) in this mock:

So, a couple of things.

First, whiffing on Rashada will not HURT the Gaytors on offense really at all. Not at all. There is no impact to RB, and if they get Rashada, they will actually get two bonus WRs. They are certainly not going to lose any WRs, though. Oh, and getting Rashada will give them ONE OT upgrade, from Lucas Simmons to Francis Mauiogoa.

Second, shockingly, the Rashada get (or whiff) will have more impact on defense. How "signing Rashada" will lead to Grayson Howard/Malik Bryant over Samuel Oosigho/Justin Jefferson is beyond my comprehension. Even funnier, somehow "signing Rashada" is the Gaytor's only shot at Cormani McClain and Joenel Aguero. I mean, isn't this the team that has the DB Coach GOATAT in Corey Raymond, yet they need some Cali QB to land McClain and Aguero?

Funny, funny stuff...

Here is what is crazy...these Gaytor nimrods think that a G5 "six months on the job" head coach with no real track record of great position coaching or great recruiting...is somehow going to deliver them a TOP FIVE recruiting class, or Top 12/13 AT THE WORST...because why? Because they are Gaytorz Brandz Nation.

Yep, all these kids should be willing to jump in the boat before Gaypier even coaches (and likely confirms his mid coaching skillz) and give Florida a TOP FIVE recruiting class...because they are the Gaytorz, dammit...

Good point. We've always mocked them for the OOC scheduling but I never really thought of the recruiting implications.
