Wow, this is an extra-steamy pile of Gaytor bullsh!te...
1. They are ****ed off that a kid going to Alabaga got a FOUR-SPOT BUMP. Good lord...
2. Demanding that someone from the "National Rankings Committee" explain this mysterious FOUR-SPOT BUMP...hilarious...
3. The rankings system is about...talent and potential, NOT about "where a kid gets drafted by the NFL". If the rankings were about NFL drafting, it would be REALLY easy to do the rankings. You just wait 5 years, give all the NFL 1st rounders a 5-star rating, give all the NFL 2nd-to 5th rounders a 4-star rating, and everyone else gets a 3-star rating. THEN you rank the recruiting classes. PROBLEM SOLVED!
4. For years, these Super Gaytors have been whining about how other fan bases get more "rankings love" because of subscriptions, or whatever, and now they are screaming about IVINS somehow having disproportionate power? You have GOT to be kidding me...
5. Again, the rankings system is about...talent and potential, not "who did the recruit commit to". You don't get to jack up a kid's ranking simply because he picked the Gaytors.
6. Of course, we have the obligatory "they shoulda ranked Desmond Fatson higher" nonsense.
7. Finally, let's pretend that we could go back to the last FIVE Super Gaytor recruiting classes, and give EVERY Super Gaytor recruit an extra star. Would they Super Gaytors have won any extra games last year? It's ******* ridiculous, the amount of time that the Super Gaytors obsess over recruiting rankings, compared to the actual impact it has on their terrible coaching or horrible game performances.
