I thought of that and smu all in Dallas. It’s endless. From Washington to Arizona to Georgia Tech. They only care about “major” though and major to them is 4 elite programs plus the gaytors regardless of location.
To add on a little - Norte Dame, Washington and Michigan State (teams that have been in the playoffs, so you’d have to guess that qualifies as major) are in/~1hr from top 15 media markets. Just for comparison, Mia-FtL is 16. What kind of critical thinking skills are they teaching at that “top 10” university?

Soooo, thoughts on the Gaytors...

1. Trevonte Rucker - SAWWWFT Gaytor verbal - WR - Ocala - Gaytors #4 best recruit (Rivals) or #7 (247) - seems to be an issue with grades. For once, the Gaytors did something smart in not allowing him to sign, thus if he fails to qualify, they will not lose an IC. Gaytors might be able to salvage something here if they pull Destyn Hill from Louisiana. But Orgeron convinced some LA kids to stay with LSU even in these difficult times, and Gaytors whiffed on all the ESD Gaytor Brand Flipz Machine candidates.

2. Javonte Gardner - OL - Orlando - Gaytors #7 best recruit (Rivals) or #19 (247, guess he didn't get that Gaytor Brand Bump from Bing Bong and Evil Ivins) - seems to be an issue with grades. Again, the Gaytors did not sign him (smart). Again, Gaytors would turn lemons into lemonade if they could get Tristan Leigh out of NoVa.

3. Charles Montgomery - WR/ATH - Tampa - Gaytors #8 best recruit (Rivals) or tied for #10 (247) - not sure what the story is here, may also be grades. If Gaytors lose both Rucker and Montgomery, Destyn Hill only fills one spot. Portal solution would be likely.

4. Deyavie Hammond - Gaytor verbal - OL - Lakeland (HS) and now JuCo - Gaytors #16 best recruit (Rivals) and #22 (247) - not sure what the story is here, as he is a JuCo and should not need GPA/SAT to get in. This is an interesting name to watch, as he was a 2019 Gaytor signee who failed to make it past UF admissions. Thus, I do not believe he counts as a 2021 IC...BUUUUUT, if he fails to make it back to UF, I don't think the Gaytors can just give out his 2019 IC. Gaytors need to work hard to get this kid in, he's a free pass.

5. Adrein Strickland - OL - Gaytor verbal - Panama City - Gaytors second-lowest-rated recruit, just ahead of super-long-snapper Rocco Underwood (Rivals and 247 agree on this) - I would definitely hazard a guess that this kid will be processed out if the Gaytors hit on ANY of their Regular Signing Day Gaytor Brand Flipz Machine candidates. But, as seen above, the Gaytors might be losing THREE long-time OL commits, while only having 1 bullet (Tristan Leigh) in the Flipz chamber (plus Austin Barber). Portal solution(s) seem likely.

6. Tristan Leigh - OL - NoVa - Thirsty Gaytor "recruiting class calculator" nerds would ***** out their mothers to get a 5-star, but UF is not in Leigh's top 5 (and Pops Leigh lives in Oklahoma).

7. Terrion Arnold - DB - Tally - At least the Gaytors made his top 5, but he's likely to join pal Xavian Sorey at UGa.
The Gaytors “passed” on Arnold. In other words, he’s going to either Alabama or Georgia so after 2 years of chasing him Mullet’s trying to save some more face.

8. Destyn Hill - WR - Louisiana - Remember how we thought it would be a longshot to pull Maason Smith out of Louisiana?

9. Bryce Langston - DE - Ocala - This one might happen. He's down to UF and LSU, and he IS from the massive Gainesville-Ocala metropolitan statistical area.

10. Portal Portal Portal - go crazy. FIVE TRANSFERS SO FAR, BRO!!!

Who’s blocked more people on Twitter, Brewster or Alfred Folden?

Brewster blocked me on Twitter when I called out his fake hood talk. The funny thing though my tweet is completely gone. I don’t know why. It wasn’t offensive, I didn’t use bad language, I just called him out for using fake language I said it was insulting. You literally can’t say anything on Twitter anymore. And this was several years ago

I edited number 5. Even capitalized “Gaytors” and spelled things out like you do.

Ok, I’ve got to ask. Has anyone outside of Gainesville been talking about trask and toney as likely first round picks? There’s an outside chance of toney sneaking in, but I can’t imagine four qbs being taken in the first round this year, which is what would have to happen for trask to go in the first

Toney is getting looked at as a late first round pick. He was getting open at will during the senior bowl practices this week but had a couple drops. Teams are always looking for difference makers so I'd expect him to go before Trask who won't be a 1st rounder.

Ooooooohhhhhhh ****e....

With the loss of 8-star Adrein Strickland, the Gaytors have now dropped below Miami in the Recruiting Class Rankings once again...

CasualE is sooooo sad...
Watson or the long snapper will make up for it when they're upgraded shortly.

That’s pretty much my takeaway. Pitts is def first round. Toney could get into the late first round but not sure he’s a lock there. Trask didn’t stand a chance even before Mullen screwed him over by letting him start the bowl game and exposing himself
