They aren't even top 35 academically. Dumbasses don't understand how that ranking is calculated. Academics accounts for about 11-15% of it.
You'd think they'd be happy being the top PUBLIC university in Florida academically, but no, gotta shoot for the moon and make people question your sanity.

This one is my faaaaavorite:

NICKELBACK
Depth Chart:
Trey Dean, SO
John Huggins, RFR*
Christopher McWilliams, RJR^

* - Hasn't practiced yet this fall due to family issue.
^ - Injured during fall camp.

Nickleback suuuuucks.

This one is also funny:

CORNERBACK
FIELD
Depth Chart:

CJ Henderson, JR
Jaydon Hill, FR
Chester Kimbrough, FR
Overview: Henderson's got his side on lockdown, and as with most spots in the secondary going into 2019, the real question marks are about the depth behind him. Hill or Elam could fill in in a pinch behind him, so don't get too locked into the field or boundary designations here. Kimbrough's a little slight build wise to think he could fully handle the physicality of the SEC as a true freshman.
_______________
BOUNDARY
Depth Chart:

Marco Wilson, RSO
Kaiir Elam, FR
Overview: While we're only listing two players on the depth chart here, it's worth noting that Trey Dean could slide over if there are any issues, bumping someone else into the starting nickelback role. Still, Wilson looks great this fall and Elam is probably the first man up at cornerback should anything happen to either Wilson or Henderson this fall.

So read the highlighted sentence again. Then look at the 2 footnotes above. We should give a prize to anyone who can figure out who the "someone else" is who would be "bumped" into the starting nickleback role. The injured guy? The guy who strangled his tutor? Or the 3 true freshmen?

And the safeties. Oh, lord, the safeties:

FREE SAFETY
Depth Chart:
Donovan Stiner, JR
Shawn Davis, JR
Overview: Stiner has been the real constant at safety, with coaches constantly praising his football IQ and ability to understand the defense and how to pattern-match the offense properly. That's an underrated quality and could lead to him starting the majority of the games again this fall. Davis continues to plug away in that regard. If it finally clicks for him, he could be a difference-maker in the secondary.
STRONG SAFETY
Depth Chart:
Jeawon Taylor, SR
Brad Stewart, JR^
Quincy Lenton, RJR
Overview: Taylor is limited in fall camp to non-contact work due to a shoulder injury, but he's a fairly likely starter at this point given that Stewart has continually dealt with off-the-field issues. As of Friday, Stewart was also missing practice due to a seeming injury, something that will need to be monitored going forward. Bottom line: Florida's depth at safety is extremely thin at this point in fall camp.

Good lord, we need to put 5 WRs/TEs on the field for every play and just throw the ball constantly. We won't even need to worry about our OTs, our receivers are just going to be running free all over the field.

theyre about miami in terms of academics. def not top 10 lol

Miami is definitely above UF in academics. UF has some good programs. Take University rankings with a grain of salt because they factor in **** like alumni donations. Strictly academically speaking I don't think you find anyone else who says UM = UF.

eh i went to UM and have had a ton of friends that went to UF, i think theyre about equal but were also talking about different majors here (pre-health majors). so like you said diff programs are better or worse than others. like idk how UF business and UM business compare and same with the shared engineering fields.

It’s completely in VIP. I couldn’t get screenshots. Funny how they still blame Chris Steele even after this latest thing with Huggins.

Scheduled to have 2 more practices open, Mullin feeling the off the field heat

That's what those horrible sports writers GET for having the NERVE to ask Mullet about a 9-month-old double-secret "five game suspension" for a player who tried to strangle his tutor.

F those writers. Mullet is taking away their TWO MORE open practices, just to teach them a lesson.

You come at the King Mullet, you best not miss!

They kept talking about having their 3rd stringers on the field by halftime.
****, they don't even have any 3rd stringers at the supposed DBU. Barely have enough to have something that resembles a second squad. I LOVE IT!

So none of this is surprising at all. What is surprising though is that Steele didn't realize this was how the gaytors roll. I don't get how anyone who is opposed to sexual assault can ignore their record on this type of thing.

Just heard an interview with Edgar Thompson from Orlando Sentinel and covers Gators on XM Radio. He just said Huggins was one of the shining breakout stars in spring game. Talked about his situation and how his current leave from team doesn’t have to do with choking the girl. Talked about loss of Edwards and McWilliams. He said Brad Stewart is super athletic but just doesn’t seem to get it when on the field (I think he will be suspended anyways).

He was asked if he thinks this Gator team is better than last year, he paused and said well they are a lot more confident than last year, but never answered the questions which makes me think no.
