I agree also. Ewers is overrated of course from his HS projection but if healthy he can be a good QB

I’m good with that. Said it months ago also. I think Dawson can get more out of his passing and the run dynamic will keep us in every game.

Considering Dawson hasn’t shown any interest in running QB’s I don’t know why he would be a good fit here?

Look at the QB’s we recruit. All of them are pocket guys with an ounce of running ability. Drones has a Good arm questionable accuracy. Big and can run but he’s not some dynamic runner. I just don’t see him being a Dawson QB.

I'd guess it's Mendoza just cause it makes the most obvious sense. Mateer is probably the best Qb that could be in the portal, but appears to likely be following his OC to OU, even if it's dumb. Ewers imo is probably going draft even though he's not even going to be a top 3 QB drafted (Cam, Shadeur, Allar).

But if it's a young guy Lagway, Raiola, and Julian Sayin all add up.
