Game 12: 3/2/25 Florida 14-7 W (9-3)

Or maybe there’s some of us that aren’t sunshine pumping blowhards who both played at a high level AND are diehard canes that know what we are looking at and disgusted at what this once storied program has become! All because of another “nepotism” hire at UM.

It’s a flat out disgrace.

I’ve been avoiding airing my thoughts so far this season but it’s gross seeing the sunshine pumping from a certain few who clearly either don’t know what they’re looking at or prefer to turn the blind eye and award/reward participation trophies.

**** this team but most of all **** JD and the administration for allowing this. I’m in Manny mode. Lose and lose a lot to expedite a chance to return this program to glory. ***** an absolute joke at this point!
There is plenty of time for this team to prove that a change needs to be made and I am hardly sold on the roster or JD. But soiling your diaper this early in the season feels a bit ridiculous.

We lost a series to one of the best teams in the country and also lost a midweek game to a very competitive FAU team.

Compare that to a ranked Wake Forest team that just lost two games to a Princeton team that we swept and also has an ugly midweek loss to a .500 UNC Greensboro team. Or Virginia, which has already lost twice to unranked opponents. Or even a Texas A&M team that already has four losses.

I am well aware that these teams all have better recent track records and thus deserves more benefit of the doubt. But can we at least see how this team plays once it enters the teeth of the ACC schedule?

We are barely into March and you are already using words like "disgrace". I get it, PTSD with this program is real. But let's take a few deep breaths before condemning the entire season.

I grew up on the Canes being a force and a regular in Omaha. JD will NEVER get us there. Soiling your diaper is what he’s made a career of. I don’t give a **** about a Wake or Virginia or Texas A&M - teams who don’t sniff our once proud and storied program. It’s baseball… better teams lose to lesser teams all of the time; it still doesn’t change the fact JD is a joke as a program leader.

He’s been the one constant around that’s seen UF completely ***** us up year after year. Sorry… that’s not acceptable to me. I prefer ripping bandaids off (see FSU and their trajectory now), not enabling the same **** we’ve seen for two decades now! I’m (we’re all) not getting any younger…

Not sure why you thumb down Erick, but Puig pinched hit and then played third base the last couple of innings. I was in the stadium.
I thumb down because i don't think it was a defensive replacement, Cuvet is a better defender than Puig, I think it had to do with either an injury or giving him rest.
