I got 2 contradictory posts. @caneinorlando said he's 5'10 and now you're saying he's 5'8. Those 2 inches make a big difference.

Not saying that everybody will end up like these guys because the odds are against it but Antoine Winfield 5’9 very solid NFL Career at CB, Bob Sanders 5’8 was a terror on the field, Lamarcus Joyner from the Rival FSU 5’8 still cashing checks in the NFL and also played CB at FSU, Nickell Robey-Coleman 5’8 CB for the Rams right now. So again I say, if a kid is a baller you take em. All that “he’s too short” crap needs to go out the window and we need to take ballers when we can. We desperately need them and this one WANTS to be here. To not snatch him up before his profile blows even more would be criminal.

Better than Justin Hodges imo, and the staff took him. Forget the size and experience if he’s making this many plays it’s just natural for him. You take him and coach him up add that with his natural playmaking abilities you have a star at the college level. This staff always wants to take projects most of this **** class are projects why not take him, I just don’t see how they can justify it. Better take him before it’s too late.

All those kids grew up wealthy though. This kid is probably still hungry. I will be honest. Even if the kid sucks, I think we should give him a scholly just to help out the Taylor family. We have extra spots available and the kid is probably broke with a dead older brother who has done a schit ton for the university. Hook him up.
Just off the strength of ST26 we can’t put his brother on a scholarship?.... y’all saying he 5’8 like it matters bandy isn’t big either neither was jaquan but that’s not here nor there lol

Listen, I am good if he gets an offer. I just know people wouldn't making 5 diff threads on this kid a week if he wasn't ST's little bro. Besides, it sounds like he hasn't played ball in a while so maybe his offers are coming in slowly. Some of you queens sound like this is keeping you guys up at night.

That production is undeniable. 10 picks with 6 TDs is outstanding. And to me, he looks fast, instinctive, and like a natural playing the ball in the air.

Small sample size, though, because the kid was focused on basketball throughout high school. In that regard, the lack of offers makes sense, because he hasn't played football, hasn't attended camps, and hasn't participated in 7 v 7 circuit. Kid basically has 2 1/2 months of tape.

Less data makes it a harder evaluation, so I get the cautious approach. But at this point, looking at our DB board, why not offer on production, limited film, and bloodlines?

His father, Pedro Taylor is a police chief. He has gone to private school his entire life.

This kid is severely undersized and just started playing football. He also doesn’t have any other FBS offers.

He can afford to walkon and prove himself.

If he is good he can earn a scholarship after a semester or two.

Are you ******* kidding me? Sean Taylors dad was a cop?

nothing to lose? people here forget that the amount of players we can sign is limited.

Surely that’s not what he meant but tell me... What exactly do we stand to lose by offering a scholarship to the younger brother of one of the greatest Canes ever who is balling out of control in his own right? Is he not worth is because it “might not” work out? I mean isn’t that the case with any recruit regardless of their profile coming out of high school? Some of you guys just like to talk and don’t stop to think how stupid you sound.

Gabe has received multiple offers in the past few days and is currently visiting Georgia Tech.
