I don’t think who plays QB really matters against this secondary. King is obviously better than their backup options but their backup options would probably have a field day as well. Unless its FSU or an FCS school, it’s going to be a shootout.

I think the Louisville qb is a far better passer than king. Murphy is a more gifted thrower as well.

However king does have that running ability and our defense doesn’t do well with those types.

Guidry is going to chit himself if King is good to go. More accurate than Shough and hits the same YPA while also being able to run the ball and doesn't really turn it over (one INT all season). 'Canes by 14 anyway

Does the offense have to be perfect? They are so good they can score almost 60 points in 3 quarters. They played below average against FSU and scored 38. At this point in time we can say an average offensive output for this team is 42-46 point range. Average being not a perfect game.

Below average? We set the bar high this year so you are not wrong. However, scoring on 7 of 8 drives isn’t too shabby.

Their backup got benched because he's completing around 40% of his passes.

When he’s healthy. Sounds like his shoulder is so bad it is basically game time decision. If he plays, I assume Guidry is smart enough to bring pressure. Take chances of getting burned (going to happen anyways) to hit King and make him start thinking about his shoulder.

Louisville QB is the best QB we have seen. He made plays and was tough to get on the turf. Their offense scored a legitimate 31 points on us. And Brohm is at top of list for offensive play calling in ACC. Unless we do some stupid things like give up a ST TD or turn the ball over on our side of the field, I do not see them scoring more then 28.

They ran a kick off back for TD and we fumbled inside our own 15 yard line so they didn’t score a legitimate 31 on offense. Also garbage tine td.
