Thanks for straightening them out. South Florida kids want Miami recruiting them the hardest and no one else even when they’re out doing their thing on other visits 😂 like bro if you’re not committed staff should still be pushing for other talented kids just as hard, even with a commitment it doesn’t really mean much to south Florida kids

Yep. And I've seen the egos of these kids. I have told more than a few this is a team sport and you are very replaceable. Don't let that hurt your ego let that motivate you to work harder so you become irreplaceable and "cant miss" Some of them have responded well while others don't talk to me as much anymore since they are at Kent State now LMFAO.

I told them we are a national brand and kids need to get used to not being the only game in town. Mario is here to win and he is going to win big. It ended up being enlightening and good not negative hence why I titled funny to me. Times are changing and I fully expect more urgency for that U committable offer in the coming classes.

Curious how they know how hard any OOS kid is being recruited vs Sofl? OOS kids getting 20 calls/15 text per week vs 19/14 for SOFL recruits. You see my point? How would they know?

Maybe word of mouth from kid to kid. Kid A is Like hey Mario told me he’s Gnna do this this and this for me. Kid B is like **** he ain’t tell me any of that wtf? Lol

It's not that. It's more of Rashada getting all the coaches and love after touring campus and Mario meeting with Tripp after mom's funeral kind of things.

I see that the traditional blaming kids for not coming to this dumpster fire of the last two decades is alive and well. You would've sent your kids to Coker, Shannon, Golden and Manny? If so, you're a ****** football parent. Stop blaming the kids. We need to earn back their trust in this school making them champions and getting them to the NFL....just look at that draft board this year. When we do that AND they still don't come, then have at it. At least now we've taken massive steps forward, but the proof is on the field in the next few years. I'm not blaming Jerry Jeudy for not coming here and playing for these coaches....sorry.
 
I'll take a high 4* talent that commits and recruits for us early over a 5* kid that wants to play the game and wait until the last minute to decide and leaves us at the alter and missing out on multiple other kids we could have had that would have helped us.

So glad Mario built a staff there can recruit nationally.
 
I saw an article recently where Hykeem Williams said he felt Miami wasnt recruiting him as hard as everyone else. But yet he said at the Elite camp that Mario told him hes the #1 WR in our board and talks to him personally. Which one is it, son? Smh. I dont know what these SoFla kids want from us. No other big time program has to kiss a$$ to the local kids like we do. Not Texas, not Ohio State, not LSU, not Penn State. Smh. Its very frustrating.

Hopefully Mario lands us a couple of these big time OOS kids so he can put the locals on notice he's not waiting for anyone and he's not playing those games anymore.

for months funnily enough she doesn't want the wine, gifts, roses, and fine dining to stop..

The divas and the handler community including mercenary parents will certainly run out of excuses. Either they get in or they will not be a part of it. No more placeholder attitude.

Yea that's a fair criticism and i probably shouldn't have said it that way. What I should have said is that a ton of them would have been better served going to better schools that developed them better than the coaches we had and the parents should've sent them there cause Miami wasn't investing enough in them or in the program. And fans always blame the kids for not coming here instead of realizing it wasn't the best place for many of those kids.
