Funny note on Josh Jobe (who?)

I remember the U did have players whom needed a extra grade boost and they went to JUCO then came back and did well .

I don’t have names but pretty confident it happened

Selfish parenting to allow your child to be exposed to the BAG instead of getting him help , plus ignoring a major college in the U from offering to jump in and help.

ALL PARENTS FAULT , SAD

Willie Williams was actually a very good student. Pretty sure his GPA was very high.
Exceptional Student....Teacher's and Principal spoke on his behalf in court....High GPA....Killed the SATs

Yup, I've known his big sister & younger brother for **** near 20 years. Sis is an attorney and his brother graduated from LSU in 3 years and he wasn't a basketweaving major. They're all naturally intelligent, Willie just had other problems. That situation ain't NOTHING like Jobe's....

I wouldn't be surprised if Williams turned out to be bipolar or have another personality disorder. I have a close relative who was an honor roll student, got a masters degree from a demanding university and yet had been in trouble with the law for several years. After the last major incident, she was finally diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and was able to get a treatment plan (there is no medicine for BPD or "cure", only thing that can help is years of cognitive behavioral therapy). So far it's been several years without any arrests and she seems to have things somewhat under control. Hope Williams got the help he needed.

My ex girlfriend was bi polar; exceptional vocabulary, extremely intelligent, like fa real fa real intelligent; but could never apply herself besides opening her legs to NBA players and shop lifting. One minute she was a great human being, the next? Stay far away from her.

Like ur sister, it took a minute, but she was finally diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and was put on a treatment plan. Sad, actually, b/c she still struggles with it, but it’s much better than before. Mental health system just as, if not more important than physical health

When Willie was a Freshman at UM....I sat and talked a solid 20 mins with him outside of Hecht....Talked about everything from Antoine Smith commiting to FSU....Too his State Championship Win....Could NOT ask for a nicer kid....just Super friendly...Always smiling....And the looks of an NFL LBer at 18

You are 100% correct, just had to sign up to take SAT at a certain local high school and all would have been fine.

DE- Andrew Williams National Title Team is the only one I can think of. We had a few guys do prep school come back.

Actually, quite a few I think.

Maybe Fast Eddie Brown, maybe Reggie Sutton. There were others. Hard to remember them all now. Some we sent to JUCOs and we were not interested in taking them back. They ended up somewhere else.

Wish I knew the full story of Cortez Kennedy. Don't remember him being a big name coming out of HS. Came to Miami out of JUCO and blew up his senior year.

I'm pretty sure Cortez was from Arkansas. If my memory serves me right he attended NW Mississippi JC where he was all world. Arkansas thought he was going there.....didn't happen
