FSU Names their Booster AD 😅

I'm actually pretty sad about this. College football was so good when UM and FSU were relevant at the same time. Those matchups in the 80's, 90's and into the early 2000's were legendary. Sad to see how far they (and we) have fallen. At least we are digging ourselves out.
They wore their Sucks to Be U shirts when the Shapiro story broke. They raided Miami for talent during the Golden years. Jimbo embarrassed Randy in their last matchup. F$&@ their streak. F$&@ their hypocritical BS. Let them have multiple bad coaching hires like we did and the school cry poor mouth.

And to add more injury

Shame on them in the 1st place trying to take tax payer funds to use on their stadium. If they want to upgrade that old dump, then get the boosters to pay for it!!!!

**** Tally!!! UM paying nearly as much in buyouts as FSU is trying to steal from the locals for their stadium. Bunch of broke *** ******* trying to steal from the poor folks in Tally.

Don't ever Troll us for playing in a $350 million dollar upgraded stadium!!!

If you really think about it, other than a short period where Jimbo won them the title, they have not been bad, they have been atrocious. They were before Jimbo took over and went right back to it even before he left.

And funny ****, their stadium funding about to be rescinded. Watch FSU and imagine thats how we been for 20 years. Life comes at you fast. Same exact thing. Loading up on project 3 stars and it inflate their recruiting ranking. G5 coaches. Crazy.
How embarrassing that they even tried to use tax payer money designated for local empowerment projects towards their **** *** stadium.

Those clowns trolled us when we fired James and Lashlee went to SMU as though our program was falling apart firing coaches every 3 years. Meanwhile we just hired our homeboy Mario, fleeced Clemson of their AD, and have increased our athletic budget by #25 million annually.

The nerve of their media and fanbase to suggest our program has fallen when those fools haven't been to a bowl game in 2 years with back to back losing seasons. They somehow think their program is on the way up.

We're laying the foundation for the next 20 years. The architecture blueprint has been put into place and now we're building.

They were trying to. In their defense the city/county has done the same thing for TCC and FAMU. But this time people complained. The money is to bring Doak up to code apparently.

Coach Ham is actually going to the capital to talk about it.

Only a fraction of the overall proposed $120M renovation is for "bringing Doak up to code". Most of it is for premium area upgrades.

It's actually worse. At least Blake had athletic department experience. This is some random booster.

Clearly you haven't read his resume. He is a former Athletic Director at another university.

It's not the worst hire ever, but the Louisville AD was more qualified and accomplished.

Sad F outa here with that. FSU are masters at beating and bragging about beating bad Miami teams. I hope they stay in the garbage and we pile up a 10 game win streak against them and national titles. I think thats fair. Them and the Lizards. Hope they go bankrupt.

willie taggert and his buyout is the gift that keeps on giving

Trust me, I was in that stadium multiple times in the 1980s. I was afraid it might collapse.
I had the misfortune of going to high school in Tallahassee from 82-86, then moved back to Miami in 88. I went to a bunch of games there also, including a 10 year stretch or so where I traveled back and forth for the Miami games. Erector set brought back the memories of cutting thru the tunnel under Pensacola st and coming out to see the stadium. It's surprising how much that stadium and area has changed.

Does UM have a comparable "Booster Club" so large that it requires its own CEO to run? And, that takes in so much $$$?

Yeah, even a few years ago, I went in one particular entrance, and they had those metallic aluminum ramps, the ones that are usually used for high school bleachers (not to mention every grandstand at every NASCAR race). I tried to explain this to people, all that F$U did was slap bricks up around that crappy stadium. They didn't rebuild anything, they didn't improve on the structural soundness of the old stadium.
