I think a lot of fans were drinking the Kool-Aid coming into this game, talking about a 40 something point blow out.

a) it's a rivalry game, so that rarely happens and b) our D is so suspect that was never likely.

We're up 2 scores. Hopefully the D is running through some tackling drills at half time and we can get an early stop and go up 3 scores.

People need to realize this team won’t overwhelm most opponents. The defense isn’t good enough to get regular stops. This team just needs to keep chopping wood and the offense will wear teams down.

Nobody’s acting like a lunatic. But based on our record, is it too much to ask for us to play a complete game? Now granted we may come out and blow them out in the second half but I kind of expected a packed house, a home game after several weeks away against a crap Florida State, we would look better.

My guy, people in here say we make FSU look like a Top 5 team, that Norvell is outcoaching us and their team is outplaying us.

We've doubled their offensive production, they have produced multiple substitution errors, they can't throw the football downfield or throw it at all and we're moving the ball on 3rd down at will.

That’s still obliterating them. Texas beat a bad OU team 34-3. FSU’s 13-1 unconquered team beat us by 7 last year. Granted 2023 Miami was better than 2024 FSU, but they were predicted to win by similar margins.

One more score and they’ll quit. This is exactly what I thought the game would be. Close for a half. Rivalry games are weird and you knew they’d go all out this game. What’s funny is fsu fans laughed at me saying this lol. They said it would be over in the first quarter.

Florida State isn’t remotely going all out. That’s not why the game is close.

Man some of y'all acting like we came into the season as Natty favorites. We're in year 3 of a complete rebuild and still have some major flaws. Just enjoy winning games and quit worrying about the polls. People were saying we were between 8-4 and 10-2, so we're ahead of schedule imo.

We didn't go away from running the ball lmao look at the time of possession. Do you ppl understand how hard it is to 15 play drives ending in a TD. We are running the ball well but the lack of explosives from the run game means you also have to throw. Running for 4 yards a play 15 times is insane.

From what I remember to end the half it was 1st and 5 in deep in their territory with more than a minute left and multiple timeouts. You can run the ball there.

What do you mean lack of explosives? We've had multiple 10+ yard runs
