FSU Loaded up like crazy!

and yet their wack asses would have lost to our sorry program the last 2 years if it wasn't for Dalvin

I hate them but they are committed to winning: from their boosters to the president to the Deans of academic programs to local bars and cops. The entire system is there to support, protect and promote a winning football program.

Any obstacles or friction to the pursuit of that goal are avoided or removed.

So far UF has signed just 4 of the top 50 players in the state of Florida. Miami has 10 and FSU has 8, according to ESPN RecruitingNation

Win the local recruiting and all will be good.

Their OL class this year is insane. #1 Center, #5 and #1 1 OT, and two top Guards. That is how you address a weakness on your roster folks. **** I hate the Semenholes.

It is hard to complete with school that offers "get out of jail free cards" with your ship. It is like being a Moslem in Germany: rape some women and the authorities blame the girls for you. What mommy would like their little boys protected that way. We have never out recruited FSU -- we always beat them on the field.

Houston didnt beat them in the trenches, they beat them in the passing game. We have a good qb capable of lighting it up. ***** noles

Exactly tempo and passing. Ramsey and James are monsters but the rest had me like eh..... If Cager and Njoku develop more then once again Kaaya will light them up

Unless Taylor is gonna replace Ramsey and they get a stud qb to build up IMO a good wr group they'll still be very beatable

Becker seems more like the guy who replaces Ramsey

I agree but watching llast season they need studs and i think Taylor is just better. Now as ssophomores tthey'llbe nasty

Luckily the WR talent pulled matches if not trumps their corners. Now the OL group they pulled in was a **** of a pull. They are going to need it with Coach Kool and the Gang on the other side attacking them

i agree that FSU is stacking up talent, but we can beat them this year if we unleash the offense and play more aggressive D. we've beaten FSU plenty of times when the talent differential was on their side, and we'll do it again.

Best Ol Coach in the nation too. That's going to be tough to play against.

Kool has to be the real deal and do the same for us on the DL side.

It's certanly great to have highly "rated" classes.
But we won't know for a little while how it all will work out.
By the time the non qualifiers get out of the way, the attrition and kids that just don't live up billing is though.
A top "rated" class can seem a little different.
**** it's happened to us before.
The true rating of a class comes is about two years in.

BTW this applies to out class as well and everybody else's.

I don't care they are loaded, I mean LOADED, with talent and it is stacked. Do you understand what stacking means? That means your 3rd string guy is just a bit worse than your first string guy and the first string guy is probably a SR or a JR whereas the third string guy is a fresh or soph. They can have bad coaches, but they are STACKED with talent. If our first team guy comes out there is a huge dropoff in talent.

It's a fact....people can spin it anyway they want. We simply are at a big disadvantage.

And yes, regardless of those who enjoy their heads in the sand, that disadvantage is largely the have nots when it relates to the ability to buy the talent necessary
to stack 4-5 star depth. FACT.

Is Jimbo a good coach?...sure. So is Saban, Meyer and Dabo. I would argue though that their coaching abilities are a distance second (Jimbo especially) to the booster bag men abilities to land the big fish...some like Manuel at the last second ala the Bowden era.

Great talent 2-3 deep make average coaches look above-average.

We get ragged on bad by F$U fans and the like because they know their ability to outspend us, like the $EC, while being able top sell a SFLA family on staying in state cannot be matched by little old UM.

The good news? While the cheating will never change, nor will the advantage they have to do so, at the very least we now know, on a coaching competency level, we are equal or better than F$U. That levels the playing field a little bit.

We need to get back to the point, where a lowly 'Nole will have to say at the end of the game : "We knew we were the better team. They knew they were going to win."

At least we're still relevant enough to be ragged on lol. We lose a couple more games to them in a row, and they might not even consider us a rival anymore.

Their younger fans probably don't already

I wish we could make the series a little more competitive.

A team full of the second best kids from South Florida will beat a team full of national all americans every time if you train them properly.

Same story going on 30 years now guys. If Richt continues the trend of our past coaches and ignores the Skai Moores etc then we will continue to lose. Here;s hoping this program has finally learned their lesson.

The talent gap between the likes of FSU/Clemson and Miami is gigantic and continues to grow.

We are gonna have to outcoach them to win....our chances of doing that are now much better with Richt.

Is the talent gap that big considering we could have beaten FSU the last 2 years with competent coaching? That being said, I get your point; however, we can't worry about FSU. How many times did we see Miami finish with top recruiting classes and failed miserably? It happens. We need to continue improving every year and before we know it we will be right there in the thick of things. I am satisfied with our class considering we only had 2 months to recruit.

The gap hasn't looked too large the last two times we've played them. And our guys look just as good in the pros.

Let's see how we look with competent coaching and a defense.
