had to , fsu and florida are scared of miami and should be. fsu knows starting next year south florida is gonna start to become a dead zone. richt is gonna lock down the best players that fit what he wants to do.

richt starts reeling in top 5 classes starting in 17 and with kayaa, allison and perry if he sticks as qb's of future no way fsu or gaturds can compete with richt on recruting trail. **** miami had more top 50 florida players in transition year then fsu and florida and once richt and staff have full year to really connect nationally watch out.

He has won the ACC 3 times in five(six?) years. Including the year before Winston.

Has won the division 4 out of 6 years (only 2 with winston) and I think he has the best active coach winning percentage or **** close to it.

How many times ITT have people mentioned moral victories of playing FSU close? I think i lost count at 20....WGAF?? Bottom line is the streak is 6 in a row and the gap is noticeable.

It's all relative. When I say he hasn't won it's relative to his recruiting. The guy is signing classes that are head and shoulders above everyone and the only team close is Clemson and then us to an extent. He should be blowing away the ACC and he is to sort of. They lost 3 games ever year with the exception of the EJ's last year and Winston. He lost three games last year and there was really no excuse for two of those losses. The way they recruit they should really have two games a year...Miami and Clemson. Not sure how the gap is noticeable when our crappy coach was within a fourth quarter drive of beating him the last two years. Maybe in your eyes.
 
I think we pull off the upset at Home because Brad Kaaya will close the deal.

Yeah, they were a really good team the year Oregon beat the living **** out of them. FSU was a paper tiger that year, and the ACC was terrible. They got what they deserved in that "playoff". FSU is going back to their 9-3 ways before they go back to another title game.

You do realizes that clemson and miami have the same average recruting class ranking over the last 4 years? The only gap is the one the fans create. With the right coaches we have 1st Rd nfl QB, WR, 2 DEs and few draftable lineman.

Clemson signs as many top 50 players as bama, fsu, osu, etc.

And They don't have Derrick Griffins bumping up their rankings either.

They also sign smaller classes than those schools too,only 20 kids this year....So their class ranking is a bit deceptive.

Jimbo has a ring, wins the acc every other year, wins 10 games a year, signw top 5 classes and has 30 guys not named winston Drafted in 3 years, but he is considered a corch by the homers.

Richt has zero rings, won the sec a few times in 15 years, wins 10 games a year, signs top 10 classes and ran an nfl factory, and he is considered a great coach by the homers.

The hoops some people jump through sure are salty.

Fisher may not be on Saban and Meyers level, but who is?

I'll admit to their recent dominance but really - what competent coach couldn't beat Al & Dorito?
Besides, Dalvin single handedly beat us. Even with terrible coaching we were competitive.
I cannot wait until we beat them.
This **** of being handcuffed by awful coaches has been terrible to endure...and it's over.

The ACC is Clemson, FSU, & everybody else. Even though we don't close well on NSD, Miami has the best recruiting class in the coastal division year in-year out.
 
Miami needs to win the coastal first.. don't get yourself down by hoping to beat Bama and OSU at the moment. Jimbos first decent year they got to the ACC Champ game and were smoked by VT... SMOKED, not close... but the goal was to win the Atlantic and they did.

To be fair the guy said without Winston. You didn't do anything to disprove his point. Jimbo is known for a dud a year like GT this past year. Good coach but not elite. In the ACC you have to go unbeaten, that will be difficult for him without having an all world QB like he had in Winston.
