FSU in Shambles and they Know it.

Rival fans always call other schools good coaches snakes. So that’s a good thing they calling Mario a snake. Also they act like Norvell isn’t trying to recruit, he tries he just can’t develop a relationship. He’s goofy asf and doesn’t have that skill. I don’t get why they have to create a narrative or an excuse why he can’t recruit.

The raw potential of Lagway is certainly there - he's rated much higher (.9964) than Williams, Judd Anderson, Poffenberger, or the incoming Nickel. Likewise with Kromenhoek (.9718).

That's no guarantee that either will work out in the long run. Miami signed seven blue chip high school quarterbacks between 2013 and 2021. The most successful of the group was Brad Kayaa. None were true program changing players like a Cam Ward, Tim Tebow, or Vince Young.

Likewise the University of Texas signed a host of blue chip quarterbacks after Vince Young and Colt McCoy played. Between 2010 and 2021, the only strong contributor was Sam Ellingher.

The hit rate for blue chip college quarterbacks might be as bad as NFL first round draft choices. Just because they are highly ranked doesn't mean that they are guaranteed to be foundational pieces.

And even if they have the tools, both Florida and Florida State have serious work to do on their offensive lines. We'll lose Cam and other offensive pieces, but our offensive line will still be better next year than either the Gators or the Seminoles. And while the next UM quarterback won't be Cam Ward, he will be better protected than Lagway or Kromenhoek.

Is this where your brain is currently at? Really?

Yes, it is true that Miami loses impact players on both sides of the ball. It's also true that many HIGHLY regarded players will be in their second year in the program next year. Especially see DL and WR. We did pretty well in the portal last year, and I expect we will do well this year, too.

Yes, it is also true that FSU basically can't be any worse next year than they are now. However, their class ******* sucks, and they lose almost every good player that is currently getting time. As we have pointed out ad nauseam, their buyout is large, their stadium renovation is large, and their NIL wasn't great in the first place.

And their suck tax is now ENORMOUS.

So, do I expect next years game to be the mismatch it was this year? No, of course not.

But do I think FSU can solve their system-wide issues in one offseason? **** NO.

Well, I have been enjying the season and the remarks on this site remind me strongly of the [maude edit]. Just like all of you I am entitled to my opinion. I can assure you not only do I bleed orange and green but I was a season ticket holder over 30 years and to the basketball program too. Besides that a donor too. have been to EVERY wide right and left game, three National Championship games, and have attended more football games than any of you. I have persoally met and talked with Dennis E, Jimmy J, and Howard S in a personal setting. Just bcause you disagree doesn't mean I hate the Canes BUT I AM REALIST. Go take a peek at next years schedule and we better have a top notch QB ready to play or else we may have a very long season. Lots of novices here who think they know a ton of football but truly don't and spout nonsense.

You were also one of the first and most outspoken haters of Mario. So maybe you are just in a sense still dug in and almost waiting for your "I told you so moment"
