FSU downgraded big time

FSU has the financial resources to not have to hire first time coordinators. At least that's what they remind us of every **** day of the week. Guy may turn out well, but FSU could have done "better".

As it stated then, that was absurd and no idea where it came from. If you want to join the club thinking I'm a Noles fan, fine by me. You are right that I have been critical of Miami's DT recruiting and that's it when it comes to the negativity.

Everyone and their mother knows Nick Saban coached the secondary at Alabama.

So what exactly was this guy doing? He's called zero plays and never coached his own unit.

What more needs to be said? He's a good recruiter but DC? LULZ
 
Stoops was multiple last year and ran some 3-4 with his personel. I doubt you see much straight 3-4 out of them next year as they won't have Elite edge rushers like Werner or Tank to stand up on the outside.

I disagree, in part. Recruiting the elite is just that. Absolutely. But a program could make a living off of less-heralded recruits from FL.

It just takes solid recruiting, development, and coaching. Lacking at FSU on one front. The coaching.

And the recruiting bonus that Pruitt brings is hugely negated by the loss of coaching that FSU has suffered. Stoops and Elliot were good coaches, Gran too. They have recruiters in Craig, Coley and Jimbo...none of them have proven they can coach.
 
Jesus FSU is such a pathetic, unoriginal program. They're always trying to rip off another school. It used to be UM and now its Alabama.

The most interesting part of this move will be, maybe not FSU as a 3-4 team, but they will presumably have very different concepts. I think this can be a good opportunity for us to take advantage of their transition. I suspect their DLinemen, historically built to go upfield, will play more controlled.
