FSU hasn't won in Death Valley in a long, long time.

Clemson right now has the best pass rush in the country at the moment and FSU's pass blocking isn't exactly sparkling by any means.

Winston is going to under pressure all night, something he has yet to see all season. Clemson is going to pick apart that defense all game.

Do you see FSU going toe to toe with Clemson in a shootout in Death Valley in what will probably be a primetime nationally televised game? Because I just can't see it.

Clemson wins by double digits.

I agree.... I got Clemson beating FSU. Tahj Boyd is proven against top 10 teams, Jameis Winston is good but he hasnt proven **** yet. and it's in Death Valley Gtfoh, my money on Clemson.

Everybody keeps saying they want FSU undefeated against Miami, so what, i dont give a **** about being on Prime Time, i just want to win.

Clemson beats FSU, Miami beats FSU, then two undefeated teams play each other in the ACCCG.... I personally would rather that scenario play out b/c i dont want to play FSU twice and it would be fun to play Clemson for once.

Two undefeated teams in the ACCCG would be BIG TIME b/c that game is going to decide who plays in the LAST BCS national championship.

i would much rather play an undefeated clemson once than fsu twice. rivalry games can go either way.

i hate the idea of running into a bama-lsu scenario where we beat them in the regular season and lose the rematch. i wish the acc would restructure divisions and put us together. no reason to cheapen the rivalry and have the first one potentially not count.

Let me say in Jameis Winston's defense, that he has actually been under pressure quite often.... thats why I think FSU has a suspect O-line, b/c the teams that has been getting pressure on him, statistically have sucked at getting pressure on QBs, aside from Maryland (again Maryland has played zero competition until FSU).

Jameis Winston reminds me of Ben Rothlisburger b/c he can get hit and still make an accurate throw down field, and he does a good job of escaping pressure and looking down field to make the throw while still under pressure.... to his credit he has shown the ability to be just as accurate on the move outside the pocket, as he is standing still in the pocket.

However i just have to see if he can continue to do that against Dlineman w/ real talent.... none of the teams he has played so far have legit talent on their d-line. Clemson has legit talent on their d-line. A lot of the throws Winston makes are athletic catches made by his main receivers Benjamin, Greene, and Shaw.... i dont know how Clemson's secondary will stack up against that level of talent but playing in Death Valley, under the lights, is a monster in its own right and thats the real advantage i see for Clemson in this game.

They have a pretty good front 7 but a good passing attack could really exploit this defense. I wish we could have caught fsu before Clemson did because they are going to blueprint how to beat that football team.

Clemson beats FSU
Miami hands FSU their second loss
Miami hands VT their second loss
FSU hands Florida their second loss
Miami beats undefeated Clemson in acccg

Miami goes 13-0 with wins over UF, FSU, VT, and Clemson

Clemson D is pretty good and they have 1-2 more sacks than we do. We will see how good they are after Clemson game obviously.

Thank you. You guys get too high after a win, and too low after a loss. Anyone who thinks that the FSU game will be anything other than brutal warfare is crazy. Driskel sucks, and he had a career game against us.

An undefeated Clemson in the ACCCG would probably be ranked #2 in the country at that point even with an undefeated Oregon or Stanford and Ohio State. Would be very interadesting what happens from there.

If FSU is undefeated when we play them it will be a war similar to the UF game just more high scoring. If FSU loses to Clemson I think it will still be a war cause its a rivalry, but I think they will be somewhat deflated. IMO
 
Story time:

I remember back in 1992, a certain FSU team that was on fire that year. A QB named Charlie Ward, who was mobile and after correcting some mistakes, their offense was rolling pretty good. The OL of the noles is the same shape was their current OL. We lost our beloved DE Rusty before that game (His pre-game speech brought a tear to my eye) and Kevin Patrick filled in. What happened that day was a thing of beauty. We had Ward running for his life and Patrick sacked him multiple times.

Fast Forward to 2013. For some reason, unless FSU gets their OL playing better really fast, I see that happening against Clemson and against us.

It's just one man's opinion.

Sooooooo UW wasn't ranked when we slaughtered them 63-7 or whatever it was? We EVEN took it easy on them and UW was ranked like 14th or something?

Exactly. Both UW and 'Cuse we ended up running in the 3rd and 4th quarters to end the game. Back to back top 25 teams that proved they belonged in the top 25. I will never forget that UW game though. That was one ****'va payback.

Dude rails against hyperbole and emotional swings and then comes in and claims Driskell had a career day against us. Classic.

Yeah the NFL was just drooling over the 1 TD 2 int performance Driskell had against Miami.... lol i didnt know SpikeUM was this much of a ******.

291 yards yeah that's really airing it out even though their offense had the ball 3/4 of the game. lol yeah sure

That is definitely the best case scenario and thats what I want to see play out.... and what would be really crazy is Florida winning the entire SEC even w/ losses to Miami and FSU. The SEC would be completely shut out of the national title picture.

If Miami and Clemson both meet up in the ACCCG undefeated, the winner of that game is going to have an automatic spot in the BCS national championship imo. That would mean Clemson beat UGa and South Carolina w/ Miami having a win over Florida. No way the ACC champ gets left out of the BCS MNC in that scenario.

What would be interesting would be who fills the next spot.... what if Oklahoma or Baylor goes undefeated in the Big 12, Oregon or Stanford runs the table in the Pac 12, and then of course there is Ohio State. I'm leaving out the SEC b/c i think this is the year they get shut out completely, or at least thats what i want to happen. (hopefully LSU beats Alabama and aTm, while losing to Florida and that way the winner of the SECCG would be irrelevant in the MNC picture.)

I think Miami went into that game wanting to stuff their running game. Against FSU it will be the opposite and they'll have plenty of chances to make plays. Only problem is fsu has a decent running game also. Special teams might decide this one. Should be a doozie.
