You wanna call Back average. Not Cam. Mediocre. I prob won’t argue with you but dude is not cheeks
Agree
He had no one to throw too a bland offense and a mediocre O line
He will be just what we need next year
And he will love eating against acc defenses w a good oline to protect him

It's absolutely a risk but one you gotta take if you're Mario. The alternative (because it ain't Emory) is sitting and waiting to see what shakes out in the portal in spring, which is a much riskier option.
I am ok with the add, but we still must find someone that falls between beck and emory to lessen the blow if his arm doesnt get right. it is a risk we take, i agree with that because the ceiling is highest with beck of the current options. But we must mitigate the risk. we need to add this years version of Poffenbarger as a security blanket. It cannot be beck or emory, that is an unacceptable position going into next season.

This team with Beck and the portal adds we already have should beat UF and be super competitive to win the ACC. We get a WR1 and a couple more pieces in the Spring portal, and we should be favorites to win the ACC.

Emory has portal written all over him, unless he really doesn’t want a starting spot. He’ll never start here.

Here's the reality.

You bring in Beck, he can start to work with Emory and Luke. Beck is coming off an injury, Luke is a true FR. There will be plenty of opportunities for Emory to play in 2025, and he may be an even stronger Portal candidate in a year, with more (and better) game tape than what he showed at the Pop Tarts Bowl.

Emory would be smart to stay. He's going to have all spring to start. He's a heartbeat away from starting in actual games, which may not fill US with confidence, but could be something he is willing to compete for.
