From three days ago…

He’s not Cam and that can’t be anyone’s expectations. And we should not even make the comparison because talent like Cam Ward is few and far in between.

Beck can be a very good QB and he’s competitive, but he makes a lot of mistakes. If Dawson can reign in the mistakes (didn’t always work with Cam), and our defense improves, then we have something.

But it will need to be a lot more ball control than this year and games in the 20’s and 30’s, but 40’s.

With a Beck you do rely on the ground game a bit more, but that's a good thing because we have good backs.

And this is why Beck needs to be looked at inside and outside. Checking his elbow and give him a colonoscopy if need be before WE commit. Also we need to get an NIL contract that’s incentivized. It’s a risk both ways, but a Pro fashioned NIL play for pay. He’s healthy and Balls it’s a big pay day. Plus he rehabs his game and improves his draft standing. If he sucks, ala that douch QB at FSU last year. No harm, no foul and play Nickel. The portal is hurtling towards a Pro style system. Way not flex that now. Just sayin’

I don't think we have the luxury and I don't think we can just demand a physical, which would be useless anyway because he's in the middle of recovery from surgery. You roll the dice.

It will be, partially by necessity (inexperience at the WR position, maturity at the HB position and OL).

Defense will be better. Cornerback room has been reloaded.

Too much unproven and I don’t have much faith in Joseph being anything special. Plus Daniel’s is injury prone. Need a big time talent. They’ve big things on defense and if they add Beck, that means they’re looking to be very competitive next year. Need a #1 WR for sure.

No if we get nice things, we earned it despite the low life, be "realistic", balance the hype, tear into any failure like hyenas, trying to act like an unbiased journalist bull**** types that post their columns from the toilet while their mom is screaming their mac and cheese is on the table . . . posters that really just need to shut the **** up

I agree with you in principle on the NIL contract, but these contracts, because they are not yet pay-t-play, are worded such that the payment is strictly for off field activities; appearances, social media posts, etc…And explicitly say that satisfaction of the contract is not connected to athletic performance its all a charade and the bad contracts are hurting the school right now.

People can literally quit the team and still be paid so long as they meet the off field requirements.

Danka, .. If teams are hiring GM’s to run the FB organization, then they need to jump into the NIL, and make changes.its play for pay, Schools, NCAA, admins, need to be transparent.But old ways die hard.
 
Beck seems like a great addition, potentially, assuming his elbow recovers from surgery. Miami should have a stellar offensive line, and solid running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. Make it happen.

Naysayers, provide an alternative.
