I would absolutely bet the house he wouldn't. Will Howard is a gamer. Very tough guy. He's the perfect QB for that team right now. Also, Day won't have an opportunity to win a title if he doesn't get it this year. Ohio State, for as much as I dislike the football program and its fans, expect championships. That is where Miami was and hopefully gets to one day. Winning the "Coastal" and getting to the playoffs isn't good enough there. Especially not beating your rivals.

They're not firing him this season, and he'll be in the hunt again. The defense is always elite and he has Smith only getting more freakishly good.

He was already gone to taint when cam committed here. Cam committed to Miami on January 13th. Smiff sighed with taint in December.

I’m not saying Smiff will enter the portal. Obviously that’s a long shot. All I’m saying is smiff signed with taint well before we had cam committed. And he still almost came here.

I hear you & its facts what u said but I recall a story published by media outlets & posted here that Cam called him & gave JJ a guarantee that he would forgo the draft and commit to Miami if JJ comitted Miami too and JJ still chose OSU, unless that story was CAP.

I’m conflicted. Beck is definitely a talent upgrade but I don’t like his leadership methods or lack there of. Not sure you can change the Leopard’s spots in 9 months at a new University. At the same time I want to maximize our chances of getting to the playoffs with this group of OL and the upgrades to the DB group. I might have to hold my nose and hope my coaches can get the best out of Beck for one year and then turn the program over to Luke.

I would say they have the advantage at Qb And oline. Ewers is definitely better than will
Howard.
Disagree on OL, Texas OL is average and I think they have some injuries as well. I think the battle comes down to OSU OL v UT DL, if OSU can run the ball, this game shouldn't be close

I’ll disagree. Texas oline is definitely better than OSU oline. Kelvin Banks is a top 8 draft pick and their center, Majors is a day 2 pick and a 4 year starter, Cameron Williams their RT is also very good. They’re widely considered a top 5 oline in the country.

Curious, what and how do you know personally about Beck’s leadership skills?

Yeah, I think Texas DL might be their only advantage. If they can win that battle, keep Smith from completely going off, and Ewers doesn’t make any critical mistakes like Allar did, they might have a shot. They also have to stay in the game early. Taint ran out and hid early in their last two games and never looked back.

Ok, so why didnt he just come to Miami if thats the case whats the point of going to OSU then transferring after one year especially after passing up playing w the best QB in the country, basically everyone knew b4 he committed to OSU that Cam>Howard n he still chose OSU smh
he went to the WR football factory & proved hes the alpha dog, thats why. Hes the best WR in the best WR room in country

I don’t know if they have that much more talent than Texas. They’re definitely more talented but I wouldn’t say by far over Texas.
