We might need the current-day pecs and nips for an accurate side-by-side comparison?

To me, the difference is passion.

I know that Frenk wanted athletics to be a priority, but as he himself said, as a marketing tool for the university. He didn't LOVE athletics enough to oversee what Beta Blake was doing, and he let too many years pass without shaking things up.

I'll give Frenk credit for EVENTUALLY appointing a couple of guys who cared more, but I really do not believe that athletics was ever a PASSION with Frenk, the way that it is for some other university presidents.

Just my 2 cents.
Frank is a logistics guy. Its all about dollars and cents. It's a means to an end for him. But one thing is seperate from the other. The shear fact of how much meat is left on the bone in the acc is how you know we were working on an exit strategy.

Who is Miami going after as President since Frenk left to UCLA?

I don't know that anyone has been specifically identified yet.

But as a registered Democrat, I am going to say that there is one slam-dunk candidate who would be great for our Big 10 candidacy, and who should be hired immediately.

And she's currently at Stanford.

I'm 1000% in favor of her candidacy, regardless of political affiliation.

Condoleezza Rice and Adm Stavridis are probably the two candidates that any intelligent person would think is a home run.

I'd write a check the day they make that announcement

You’re 100% right. Frenk was a complete non factor with sports. The most credit I could give him in that area is that he knew enough to know that he was out of his depth, so he deferred to others. He couldn’t give less of a **** about sports though.

He deferred to Blake so there isn't much credit to be given for delegating to someone who ran the thing into the ground. He was just an awful hire

Whoa, whoa, whoa…

Joe was s the former head of Deloitte US. And is likely not “permanent”. And is taking over IMMEDIATELY. So…let’s pause on the judgment until we see who gets the job full-time.
Oh great…a ******* accounting nerd.

Wahooo!

Butch-to-Coker was Foote.

She had nothing to do with the Orange Bowl debacle. That was David Samson and the Latin Builders Association and Manny’s dad.
You know that **** wad has a baseball podcast? Makes me want to hurl. You should how much bragging he does about the 2012 Marlins. You’d think he was Theo Epstein when he built the ‘03 Red Sox.
