Remember when everything thought Kevin Nelson was the next Nate Webster?

Honestly, this is one of the times I was right. I remember posting on Shadow's board after my dad and I watched him play in the first round of the playoffs. His team got a penalty on the opening kickoff for delay of game because the coaches had to pull him away from chatting with his buddies in the bleachers. I turned to pops and said "uh oh".

Thought KC McDermott was going to be elite, thought Kirby and McCord was going to be really good, and I am sure most of us thought Tracy Howard was going to be better than he was.

Oh and that Baby Jesus aka Kevin Olsen was going to take us back to the Natty oooof was I wrong

McCord would beast in Diaz’s defense.

I was certain Tracey Howard was gonna be an AA and a first rounder.

No offense to him but howard was overrated, a d i thought so back when. No idea why rivals had him as top cb. He just wasnt that good athletically.

Nelson was a joke. It was how you knew shannon was checked out or lost. Fish went apoplectic on this one. Fish has never been wrong in my memory when he says a kid is awful.

I wasnt hyped on forst or third.

WW had that ability (as a 3-4 rush olb) but shouldn’t surprise anyone he couldn’t hold it together. 10 arrests as a juvie then that florida OV....

I believe so too, but it’s been disappointing as of now. And I heard he’s looking to transfer this summer.
