Former Recruits that you were wrong about......AND GO

I have been following recruiting since 97. There has not been another recruit I was more excited to see commit to Da U than Ray Ray Armstrong. I still watch that kids highlights. I thought he was going to be a beast at safety. He had that one good hit on Demarco Murray when we played Oklahoma. But I thought he would leave a legend.

Travonte Valentine was a player I was really big on and thought would be a great player. Only FOLLOWING following recruiting from Goldens regime on, his recruitment wasone of my first tastes of drama, including the dram that was the Alex Collins Saga. But Valentine was one I was dead wrong on that flopped in a BAD way.

Where to begin, I was ****ed when we lost all of following players.

Antoine Smith
Andre Debois
Deonte Thompson
Stevenson
Kevyon Webster (ended up having solid NFL career, still)
Keith Brown LB
Reggie Northeup
Travis rudolph
Korda. Scarlett

I thought Jeff Luc was going to be a monster, at the very least I thought he would end a few careers. One of the most violent high school films I can remember watching.

Jammi German sticks out in my mind....Had an okay Miami career, but nothing like the insane hype he had coming out of high school.....

When we signed Aikeem Jolla and Ryan Moore together, I thought we were going to have two monsters on the outside that would be impossible to defend.

Incredible how many of these busts were the results of stubborn coaches and a scheme that doesn’t play to strengths.

Yes, but in Ryan Moore's case, he was just a ******.
