On offense, I think the weather is going to magnify the Canes weaknesses. The receivers, who already drop a fair amount of passes, are going to have a more difficult time catching Morris' passes, especially since he has a tendency to throw some passes overly hard. The receivers are already slow getting in and out of routes, they are going to be even slower as they will be less sure of their footing. The offensive line is going to be slower setting up to pass block, they are going to have a harder time moving ND's defensive line because of footing, etc. And how will Morris react to a harder, colder ball than he is used to? Maybe/hopefully the weather really isn't going to be that cold, but it's still going to be 50 degrees colder than Miami is used to playing in. A lot of handling the cold is mental approach and toughness. But it isn't all toughness when you aren't used to playing in it. I see the weather as an advantage for the Irish, similar to the "home" field advantage they will have.
