Cronkite 2.0. Wait till pops starts calling Randy to let his kid play. Makes so much sense. Pops wasn't gonna be calling anyone on this staff to let him play. Randy on the other hand, speed dial!

No ones Sean Taylor I'm just using that as an example of a high caliber recruit....st was a four star just like cj. Bama wanted him also and u coach those guys up...all of a sudden no one here wants him or now we feel OK that he didn't come because of this story. I was never high on the kid but who knows about his character really....no one.

Cmon stop dck riding Henderson like he's some can't miss prospect?? He's always been considered a project at corner there is nothing special about his game aside from his 40 time.

And Edwards is a 3 star recruit y'all hyping like he's the next Patrick Peterson?? Lol the back and forth from those two was weak and tired but you think they need to get their egos stroked off all the way untilled the whistle blows before they can decide what school to choose??

Anybody that would rather be coached under McElwain than Richt are weirdos.. Majority of the kids that chose Florida over UM regret it and even Wilson wishes he got that UM offer even though he's a 1st round pick out of UF.

Henderson and Edwards arent going to make or break any potential national championship team so let it go, I'm sure there are plenty of CBS in next class to whine about over and over again.

This kid aint a Sean T talent, and what makes kids high caliber isnt just their talent its their mentality and leadership

The point is Sean Taylor wouldn't do that. They have in mind what a 'Cane' player is and enitlement BS isn't that.

Dee is hearing this from the staff. As a former player he is connected. So he isn't getting this from a guy that spoke to a guy who knows the staff. He is getting this stuff from the coaches.

And yes...I'm willing to bet that's exactly what happened RVA. They wanted to see what this kid was made of inside...nothin but vanilla cream. You can't win with kids like that.

I don't doubt that he is getting his info from the staff, but do wonder how much bias there is that he gets? Afterall, not a lot of people just want to come out and say 'yeah - I got beat'.

Also, what was the point of Rumph sending out all of those tweets with current and former players? That would seem to support Pete's reporting about lack of experience - or was that Edwards and I am getting it mixed up?

It might not be true, but why in the world would Dee waste his time writing up a novel. He's either crazy or telling the truth. I just dont see how you could possibly make all that stuff up.

If true on CJ, I think we dodged a bullet....if true.

But Rumph needs to stay off his feelings like that with these kids. Recognize the crap attitude from these kids early on and just don't recruit them. If true....

Also matches up w/Saban's interview with ESPN on signing day. He said the only disappointment they had was not landing a CB. They pulled out of the Henderson race w/out a backup. That never happens with them.

You recruit a kid, in and out of camps for over a year, visit his home and family, and get to know his COACHES who would know all about his competitiveness....and then go silent on him because he allegedly throws a tantrum at a stupid all star event? Bull****.

If you can't work with that, maybe your in the wrong profession. This sadly sounds like some Shannon era type ****.
