For those bashing our defensive staff for not closing...

Today, along with the rest of this cycle, is about how far away we are from being close to respected. We literally lost the best player from Dade County and the best player from Broward. I know winning heals but dam idk how this occurs and coaches can not be blamed. This is possibly the most inept recruiting program in the country. Not 1 god dam team misses more on talent than Miami. We are in love with the idea of wat Miami was, n still havent accepted the fact that we are Vanderbilt or Duke. The only difference is we are located on much more fertile recruiting grounds.

We did not have a top 5 type Defense. We played the 2nd worst FBS in college football. Anytime we faced a decent offense LSU, GTech, Wisconsin with a running game we get slaughtered. Two of those teams ran for 300+ yards and threw thew the ball less than 15 times. Defense was waaaaay overrated.

These top rated South Florida kids are fickle and bandwagoners. If you don't win games, they are not going to stay home.

Both of these kids were not lost today, they were lost the day Mark Richt was hired. You keep hiring and extending incompetent coaches, it leads to underperforming seasons, which leads to kids like these guys leaving town.

WIN MORE GAMES. HIRE LESS CRAPPY COACHES. PERIOD.

If you can't land Tyrique Stevenson...evaluate and get as close to Tyrique Stevenson as you can (afford?).

If you can't land Khris Bogle...evaluate and get as close as you can to Khris Bogle.

We end up with neither and nothing.

How is this not on the defensive staff? Stop missing for the forest for the trees and stop trying to put out brush fires in the middle of Northern California.

We're in a results business. Either do...or do not. There is no try.

I have zero idea why dudes who get paid a pretty penny to coach a child’s game cannot figure out what this dude said above. Evaluate and recruit the kid. If some kid spends night and day in campus and you know he is not signing. Kick him off campus and send a message. Find other kids. Enough is enough.
 
We need better on field results and better bagmen. And maybe a car lot too. We can't compete when a school with a better record, that's putting a better product on the field, is also offering a bigger bag.
