2024 Flip Watch Thread: Mario "We Have a Lot of Guys We're Fixin' to Flip"

I know Mario won’t give up on Stone but that kid just outright love OU. I think we would probably have a better shot at flipping some other DTs.
Pressure his friend. See how much he loves OU thereafter. I am a firm believer that everything is negotiable, and everyone is for sale.

No doubt that at the end of the day everyone is for sale whether it be money or something. That said it’s an uphill battle. Best bet is to keep pressure on the family but Mario did do that and had him locked up by all accounts but the kid went with his heart in the end.

I think we need to run up the score where possible. One of those times is this week.
Isn't that exactly what Dawson said in that Athletic article? This is not the Canes of the last 2 decades.

“I don’t think we can run the clock out,” Cristobal said. “Run the clock out?” Dawson replied. “I’m trying to end this motherf—– right here. If they match up, we’re gonna throw the vertical.” Cristobal loved what he heard.

Seems to me that Scott would be a better flip candidate. Stone seems to really like Oklahoma, but Scott (if the rumors were true) chose OSU because mama wanted him close to home. Maybe JT can convince Scott's mom that he'll be in good hands.

I woke up today finally not playing starfield. But as I scoured cfb you may be right bruh. That is all. I usually don't converse with gator fans but I know deep down u have love for the canes. Or the fan base whichever

Lmaoooo i'ma let the next to last sentence slide because it's bs but on the real, with Bama, they've always been a team that if you can block their front 4 enough, you'll move the ball on them in the air. The ground game isn't the way to beat them, block em enough times up front and they're vulnerable against the pass. Also I think they're facing the same issues player wise as Clemson offensively, yea we know QB isn't there for em, but their WR's the last two seasons are NOT up to the "Bama standard". Maybe it's all the coaching turnover finally catching up to them (as expected, they can't dominate FOREVER under Saban), but they are NOT good at WR

This one caught me before my coffee fully kicked in and got me spiraling somewhere between not winning until we stop losing, and losing until we keep winning....somebody help me here...
Poking fun at the people who used to say I do t is ranked until we prove we can stay ranked.

We need to turn up the heat on both. Recruiting does not occur in a vacuum.

i actually agree and yea that was bs lol. but I think parity and other schools finding their Saban has slowly started to impact cfb.

Gaby confirmed it today on the through the smoke podcast today
Semi-aside here, just started diving into the Cane pod world - there are waaaay more than I expected to find when I first started looking. Can anyone advise what the one or two are from this list that are going to have the most substance and/or insider stuff that'll be worth the time to sit down and listen to and won't be the same recycled stuff we find all over the internet?

26 Degrees
Behind The U
Canes Insight (with the understanding I'm currently posting on this board)
Locked On Canes
Orange Bowl Boys
The Sixth Ring
Through The Smoke
Wide Right

All takes are appreciated, thanks.
