I don't think Ryan is dumb enough to get rid of Brian. I think the solution is bring in a high profile analyst to help him with scheme and gameplanning. Brian is getting the sfl wrs that bama use to get and Ryan doesn't want to lose that pipeline if he has anything to say about it.

If Hartline wants to be anything more than a WR coach at any level of football and has anything simulating a pair of stones dangling between his thighs, he takes an OC job somewhere else that will let him actually run the offense.

If not, a WR coach is all he’ll ever be because OSU just said he isn’t good enough in that role.

Conversely, I don’t see how Day or any OC would want to let him go based on his recruiting success alone.
