Always difficult to lose a parent, especially one as supportive as Fletcher’s.

Heartbreaking for the kid and family. Thought for sure I saw him up at Louisville so guessing it was unexpected. Even more tragic.

It appears that way. Some said they saw him recently at games.

Hopefully the team and community rally around him and his family to lift them up.

His pops was a big fan . No way Mark doesn't play in his honor and have the game of his life!

My dad passed earlier this year and even a few months removed I still struggle with certain things. My best wishes to Mark, I’m sure his dad was very proud of all he’s accomplished.

Mine passed away three years ago. I was glad I was able to talk to him the night before and tell him that I love him.

Condolences to Mark and his family. It's hard to imagine at his age. My mother passed earlier this year and my father could go anytime.. I'm working on 56. I wouldn't even know what to say to a young man his age. Really sad, I feel for him. I'm sure his father has been a big part of his life. I bet his father was proud of Mark bigtime. Hopefully he's got friends and team mates to pick him up right now, he's going to need them.
