Calling a great game. Getting too cute at times as he has done before but him and Morris seem very in sync.

The hurry up is very nice to see.

need to run the ball a little bit more to open them up.....

bc is already starting to turn up the blitz...and i guarantee their head coach changes up their d abit after the half (hes pretty good with that)...

more carries for James and Clements.....i thought the te were suppose to be big in this offense?....

Yeah I think we came out gunning because BC expected us to run. Should be interesting to see the adjustments.

I love how we have been getting Duke involved. Love it.

C- effort. Many will look at this game and see the points. I look at this game and think of what this style will look like against a legitimate defense.
 
Liked the first half. Did not like the second half.

I will say though, we are **** limited on offense.

It was like a total game of set up. I thought I knew where he was going with some of the early play calls. I liked it. But it never came. We don't have a downfield option though. Scary.
 
The offense was boring and uninspiring. Where are the throws in space to let the kids run? Middle of the field was hardly used. There were a total of 4 or 5 balls thrown beyond 15 yards. Bleh.

Without Duke, we would have lost this game.

I think Morris has a lot more in him but we need Scott big time. He is the only big receiver on the team. Loved how Malcolm Lewis played though. He had a great game.
 
I was surprised we lined up in the shotgun so much.

Where were the double TE sets? Not much downhill running.

The offense put up 41 points and 500 yards of total offense and could have easily scored 50 plus if the defense had got some 3 and outs or made some stops

The offense needs more stuff down the field, we have some real talented skill players.

No one is complaining about the pace. We had more than 30 attempts within 12-15 yards of the LOS. That is not a "wide open" offense, nor is it sustainable when we play an actual defense.

Agreed. The constant screens and single read passes won't cut it against better defenses.
