Final Four vs. UCONN - 4/1 8:49pm EDT on CBS

I know UConn is good, but I don't get why people are acting like they are a #1 overall. I have never seen a #4 seed treated like they are **** near unbeatable, while the #5 seed, who just went through a #1 and #2 is somehow chopped liver. It makes no sense.

I'm not saying we will win, but I just don't see how UConn is some juggernaut that we can't beat. Can they beat us? **** yes. Can we beat them? Absolutely. In my eyes it's a 50/50 tossup, with us having survived the tougher road thus far.

I have degrees from both UCONN & Miami. I discovered Husky basketball while living for years in CT. The way the entire state backs the team is amazing. I remember the Cliff Robinson team that started it and the 99 team that beat Duke in the final. I have always routed for Miami in football and the huskies in basketball. Whenever Miami was doing well in basketball It would make me smile. Never in a million years would I believe I would see both in the final four. In fact I thought it would have been in football in some bowl game. In all honesty I am legit torn, so I’m gonna cop out and say may the best team win.
Hard to fault you here. I'd say pull for Miami, since you've already seen UConn win a title.

Yet again nobody giving us a chance. Thank you media

Perfect, clean sweep from the know nothing crowd. Michelle was going to kick Dennis Dodd's *** in the presser so it was a thing of beauty. Dodd is another **** with ears.

They’re very unselfish and move well without the ball. Good passing , even the big. All the scrambling and trapping could be an issue for our defense. I do think we can run and get much better looks on the perimeter than UT. If they’re smart they’ll use the same strategy as UT and leave their big sitting in the paint.

Well according to Kenpom BEFORE THE TOURNEY BEGAN, They were ranked #4 overall in the country: #1 Houston, #2 Bama, #3 UCLA, #4 UConn, #5 UTenn, #6 Purdue, #7 Texas, #8 Gonzaga... #14 SD state... #22 FAU ... #40 Miami.

So According to Kenpoms pre Tourney rankings:

Miami has beaten #1 Houston, #7 Texas, #30 Indiana, and #67 Drake. .... (based on current Kenpom rankings, if we beat UConn we'd be beating 3 of the top 5 teams in the country just to make the Championship, so while this was a crazy upset tourney - it wasn't for us lol).

UConn has beaten #8 Gonzaga, #20 Arkansas, #11 Saint Marys, and #74 Iona.

FAU has beaten #25 Kansas St, #5 UTenn, #312 FDU, and #19 Memphis.

SD state has beaten #13 Creighton, #2 Alabama, #90 Furman, and #73 Charleston.

Looking at the four teams left, they definitely look like the favorite. Not saying we can't beat them, but I totally get everyone saying they have the best chance of the four. If we get past them, we will be everyone's favorite.

We will be favored in the championship if we get past UConn. And that would have to be a first whereby a team is an underdog in 3 straight games before being a favorite for a championship.

UConn can match our athleticism while being noticeably taller. They’ve lost some games this season that make you scratch your head, they’re just playing their best ball of the year by far at the right time. But so are we. I see it going down to the wire similar to the Texas game.

They were under seeded same with Miami if we are being honest, they were as high as 2 in the nation. Thing is come big East play that undefeated record was shattered, big East teams beat up on each other. Lost twice to Xavier and Marquette and once to a bad St Johns team. But both canes and huskies are rolling at the right time

This was a good game you can see how to stop UConn as well as see what’s working as they almost came back but lost at home down 20. Xavier beat them twice as they had good 3pt shooting both games and great guard play which is UConn weakness as their guards are mainly scorers not defenders
