Fig putting in work

Our LBs have suddenly become the zero ******* around crew.

This kid is all ******* business. Even as a freshman, against a team full of athletes, he stood out in the Florida game with his explosiveness. That's a huge sign.

He's also only a true sophomore...perfect world he would have not been relied on so heavily last year causing him to get injuried. Kid was blowing people up. Not just Florida game but thought I remember uNC game had a crazy blow or fwo.

That was a good video to see. But I am curious why not workout at UM rather than another gym.

Go Canes

Agreed. I love a big hit as much as the next Cane, but at this point I really just want solid fundamental football. Love that the guys are working out and hope that it translates on the field.

As of now, Figs is nothing more than a message board warrior or Greentree All-American. He has shown very little when the No Life DJ is cranking that sound.

Here's hoping he lives up to this Board's lofty expectations.
True. He's certainly a **** of an athlete though. I'm hoping he's able contribute this year.

He's definitely an athlete and boy can he hit... However, he's still learning the game... He's a workout warrior with potential but he gets confused easily... That being said, I believe if he is coached correctly he would be a terror...

Hopefully DP can get him in the right spots. Figs can learn and develops a ton this year from DP when it comes to smarts.

Good to see these kids taking initiative and working out on their own. Foundation of personal accountability as been set and the young men are beginning to mature into leaders. Solidifies my belief that we have the right man for the job.

Would love for him to continue to improve his strength without losing his speed and flexibility; something our sociologist gym teacher SandC coach hasn't been able to accomplish with our other front 7 players.

I have a feeling Owens will be better than all of them.

guys who werent at spring scrimmage didnt get to see that guy up close. Dude is tall and rangy, and if you leave him unblocked he is running that sh*t down. He has ALOT OF POTENTIAL.

But i just shed a tear of atually having a lb core out there with Eddie Johnson,Perryman, Figs....those are three insane guys.....

-Figs during about the whole scrimmage was by himself on the sideline like an animal(not socializing with much people) i know because i was on the field by the gate next to him all scrimmage. Then Perryman laid Gus and Figs went apesh*t.lol..
