FHSAA 2016-17 State Championships

Was a Defensive battle in the first half... CC has had a lot of opportunities but just haven't capitalized on any of them...

Cam Davis had a 72yd TD called back, but he's still has close to 50 yards rushing on just 7carries...

Marlon Smith has been struggling, so Coach Hill put Floyd in at QB...

Randy Russell dropped an INT, Yasir Abdullah & the rest of the Defense has been playing really well thus far too.

Lol they just interviewed Rick Ross on the CC sideline.

Didn't know he played on the OL when he was there.

Nothing but Major Props to Carol City on winning the 6A State Title this year!

They had one **** of a season, they're absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball & after they beat MNW I was rooting for them to bring home the Chip.

Not gonna argue about any 2017 prospects, but for 2018, there's at least 3-4 players we need to have from this squad, there's no excuse to let these kids leave home.

(Also, some of the updates I put in the OP on page 1).

Carol City is a year ahead of schedule. Two years ago i said they will be playing for states in 3 years. Them boys going to be a problem the next two years.

Absolutely!

Most of their best players are 2018/19 kids, so they don't even have to worry about losing a ton of kids to College.

They have the best roster in Dade & as long as they can keep the wolves from trying to get some of them to transfer to other schools, they'll repeat as State Champs next year... Mainly because MNW needs help in the secondary, the loss of Troutman really hurt them down the road.

We really need to offer Camron Davis, Randy Russell & Yasir Abdullah... Those kids are pure beasts and we can't afford to let them leave Miami.
 
Southridge's Offense is playing pretty terrible thus far...

They were shut out in the 1st half & to start the 2nd half they turned the ball over...

They got the ball back again, Dee Wiggins had a 30yard catch, then Collier at QB had a 24yd run, but then they're regular QB threw an INT putting an end to the best drive they had all night.

Now, there Defense is getting gassed because they've been on the field all night & having a hard time getting stops on 3rd down.

Hopefully, they turn it around...
