Few things from this weekend

Who will be next to commit ?

Brian Edwards
Wonder how many cbs we take
My guess is 3 or 4... Edwards (who due to his size will most likely play S at the next level), Brini, Henderson & I guess Bandy could get flipped.
Idk about Marco Wilson & Shawn Davis, there's no way we'll land all of them. And unfortunately for him, Nick Roberts will be dropped from this class as we get closer to NSD.
I'm curious to know how taking 4 CB's for 2017 will affect our #Storm18 class, with the Elite level CB's we could end up with.
I think it would have a huge effect on 2018. We need to bring in class after class in all positions...but the reality from a parent perspective is pulling in a big class at a particular position could have a negative effect on the recruits at that position in the following class ...

Disagree because the top teams bring in top 5 classes/talent every year. That we know means top talent coming in with top talent already in place. I think winning is the primary factor that influences a kids decision vs depth, because if not then you would see a big difference in talent from one year to the next at any position. Meaning if we recruit 4 highly regarded db's this year, it may mean recruit less DB's the next, but not necessarily any less talented.

Teams like Alabama and FSU have loads of talent at every position with 5 or 4 star kids, which allows them to redshirt and put some of that talent on special teams, remember when Miami had starter potential, playing special team, making plays? Load up on talnet, get some three years and done high draft picks type players and reload every year with talented redshirt players, i want miami to become a football factory again, thats what more appealing to these highly rated florida kids..

Everyone keeps saying Nick will be dropped; Richt already said he's not dropping anyone who pledged to the U. Also, I assume Nick's ratings will be going up soon. Nick is super talented and is a str8 pit bull. He's a perfect slot guy.

I don't think he would come out and say he's dropping kids, and Nick committed to Golden not Richt.

Richt said all pledges would be honored whether they pledged to him or Golden.

Where did he say whether they pledged to him or Golden? I thought he said that regarding to kids that his staff has offered.

You can disagree, but you're clearly wrong. This is literally a parent of a top recruit telling you this. The fact is if we bring in a loaded 2017 class, a few players in the 2018 class might not see Miami as a place they can get a lot of PT early.

SFL recruits are going to become the worst depth chart watching prima donnas in the country now that kid can transfer from high school for any reason. We thought it was bad before...

Kid has extremely good form throwing the football on the run, really uses his hips to drive the ball regardless of stance. Looked comfortable running and throwing from both sides too.

Very impressive film. I know that it's only 7-on-7, but he shows excellent arm strength, timing and accuracy. Now, of course I know it's much harder to do that with a pass rush trying to take your head off, but still very impressive. Richt must be chomping at the bit to get to coach this kid. He has an extremely high ceiling, in my opinion.

On the recruiting trail u pay attention to whats going on around you...we knew the top ten backers in the class before and after...talked to a bunch and parents.. we were all doing the same thing...not saying its his reason for going were he was going but raekwon McMillian new Reuben Foster was going to Bama and he knew Depriest was staying for his senior year....due diligence.. Going to OSU made him about 10 million dollars...some see this as a game others see it as reality...He would have been a great LB anywhere he would have gone but due diligence put him in the right spot at the right time..
