They won't win head to head battles down here against Alshermond. They might have beat Coker and Shannvo, but they won't beat Al.

See what I like about young Peter is that if he doesn't know where the kid is going, he straight up says he doesn't know where the kid is going.

Stay this way young Pete, stay this way.

Fairy German has worked that shell game since he got into the subscriber milking racket. He says just enough negative shart to make it sound like he knows what he's talking about. That's why he mixed the "leaning elsewhere" nonsense in there.

That dude is just as clueless as anyone else with no information who is making guesses. Difference with him is that he's managed to continue to get dopes to pay him for his guesses and for inviting Charles Robinscum into chats and sucking his **** after he tried to kill our program. In closing, if you continue to pay that guy after he sucked out Robinscum then you're not much of a Cane.

As usual, fine choice of words Chise. Educated, thoughtful and kind. Have not changed a bit after all those long years and across multiple platforms.

What is there to be unsure about on Cunningham. Until he gets an offer there is really nothing to discuss

You guys need to cool it. Thomas is taking his mother on his official to FSU. If I am a pro who gets paid to make educated guesses I say that's not good news for Miami. Mom loves the Canes. If Thomas felt the same way then game over but he has been non commital when asked and doesn't even have a firm visit planned for Miami. If he was 50/50 wouldn't you think that he and mom would have a visit planned for Miami. My read is that FSU has his attention. If they can sell Mom we are in trouble.

He's taking her on every single visit. Stop saying "we" because you're just another FSU troll.

Sorry but in this case you have jumped the gun. I was raised six blocks from the Orange Bowl and started attending UM games in the fifties. I want to be respectful to you but I am probably the oldest die hard Cane fan on this board. Are you saying that Thomas has set his visit? If so that is good news indeed because the latest I have is that he has not.

Did you watch the video I posted Mr. Sir?

Pretty sure we have nobodies making the same predictions on this board.

New poster(s), the look at me posts making them look like wannabe insiders. Happens every year on every site.

Referring to me as a new poster looking for attention? LOL I've been member of Grassy, Rivals and others since inceptions. I don't post much but I am guessing you were in elementary school when I started posting. That if you even made it that far in school:D

And what in this original post would make me look like insider? Bringing to the board what Ferman said on his site is inside information? LOL Grasping for straws!

My point is that Ferman just pulls **** out of hat, throws it against the wall and hopes it sticks. We have guys that seldom follow recruiting making the same predictions thus no one should put stock into what he said.

Thanks I just did but I really couldn't make out what Thomas was saying other then Miami stood out. What else did he say? ( I really want this kid)

That Miami is recruiting him hard and the familiarity between his coaches at BTW and the coaches at UM is attractive, as is the prospect of playing at home in front of family and friends

Don't let this bother you sir. Anyone who says anything that contradicts the general feeling of posters here is automatically labeled a "troll". This is how message boards roll.

Not worried at all... #6 is going to let the process play out. the staff feels comfortable he'll be a Cane on NSD & so do most who are close to him. By the way I was banned today from Whoreslant for this same topic and same response. Amazing isn't it

I dont even care if Ferman is wrong. These are 18 year old kids we are talking about, not all know what they want from day to day. Even the best will whiff a lot. that's fine.

it's the arrogance, and the hypocrisy that annoys me. he freaks out over certain posters posting rumors/theoretical inside info, pulls theads completely rather than send to another forum. AND THEN HE DOES THE SAME CRAP, but because he says it its ok.

then he posts wild *** crap that is worse than anyone elses, and when he gets called on it, does a why me bs.

Im embarrassed to share the same initials as his in my real name. He gives all G F's a bad name.

Talk about back tracking from your first statement.

What are you basing this on? They got shut out last year. Who did they get in 2011? O'leary and Greene were hardly south Florida kids and Freeman never got recruited by us until the very end when Golden took over. Stop with the inferiority complex....this isn't Shannon and Coker....

I'm not backtracking at all. Just clarifying my initial statement. How many head-to-head battles over a South Florida recruit did we engage in with F$U last year? You need a significant sampling size before making a bold statement. And, I stand by mine -- shutting out F$U when you are going head-to-head on 6 recruits is EXTREMELY DIFFiCULT and unlikely. Period.

I can't tell you to temper your enthusiasm because you are entitled to look at this with orange and green colored glasses. Nothing wrong with that. But, I choose to calibrate my expectations on what has transgressed in the past.

For the record, I hope I'm wrong and will gladly eat crow.

Go 'Canes"

Hol'up don't say that if people don't see it your way they are being unreasonable. You have failed to provide sufficient data to support your thesis. PERIOD

Give examples of south florida recruits that we have lost recently. 2011 had extenuating circumstances due to the coaching change, but other than that, provide some guys who we battled it out with FSU for. "Get some facts and then come and see me" as Jim Calhoun would say. Don't just make a blanket statement saying it's hard to pull everyone from South Florida when we are battling with FSU. If you have a certain point of view and a way you like to look at things, that's fine, but don't try to make other people here crazy for looking at it a different way, especially when you have nothing to support your assertions.
