Just an anecdotal observation but our coaches certainly look the part from a fitness standpoint moreso than in the past.

Personally, as a young person, that contributed to my perception of someone.

Frierson, Jobe, Blades Jr, Samuel Jr, Patterson, Burns in 2018 , wonder how that will work cause we're taking at least 5-7 DBs this year.

As always, these things tend to work themselves out when five star talents want to come to your program. We have the availability in this defense to take 5 DB's this yer and 7 next year (at minimum). Unlike the previous scheme, the DB's can fill multiple spots and get on the field in roles that aren't as traditional if you have the skillset to play it (I.E. tackling, coverage, ball skills, size).

In 2018, how does frierson stack up with Blades Jr, Surtain Jr, Samuel Jr and Tyson Campbell??

Just as good. Throw in Josh Jobe 2018 commit from Colombus and Dominick Watt from McArthur in 2018 in that discussion as well.

Benny Sapp (St. Thomas Aquinas), Trenel Troutman (Northwestern), Miguel Edwards (coconut creek), Randy Russell (Carol city), Irshaad Davis (Norland) a couple more to keep an eye on as well for DBs in 2018 in Dade/Broward.

2018 is a tremendous year for DBs in the state. Especially in Dade/Broward county.

Macho Man Randy Russell OOOOOHHHHHHHH YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!

This retarded for real.

For lineman I am fine with having height floors.

But flat out saying to a group of recruits. We look for 6'+ WRs to get on the field...

Skill positions size doesn't really matter at college level. Some of the very best are sub 5'10". Bruce like 5'7" & he will be a baller.

I think it's an "or" thing. Sam Bruce is 5'8. Latrell Williams is 5'11 when he was committed before he flipped. I think there preference is 6'+, but if you have elite speed, you're good.

I have been told the #Canes have a very good chance of landing 2018 Coral Gables DB Gilbert Frierson. I was told he is very close with 2018 Miami commit and Colombus DB Josh Jobe.

Jobe is considering to reclassify to 2017 from a source close to his family.

They went to middle school together.

How can Jobe do that at CCHS??

Also, just for quick reference if people are wondering. Commitments usually happen at Junior Days after lunch, when the coaches start having 1on1 sit downs with prospects.

I think that both are from the Grove. Both would be big time. IIRC, Jobe won't be able to finish out his senior season if he doesn't reclassify.
